I'm sure there's a good samaritan somewhere on Vector willing to make you pills and boosters, if I had a 50 over there I'd make you some. Getting to level 40 will make your farming quite a bit easier too.

Cadsuane is right, you need to customize basically your entire loadout and clothes to kill Tengu. Don't bother with clothes that don't give melee resistance, unload all hyper defenses except Hyper Block (Even with Hyper Sense his knives hit 95% of the time).

State specials will be the main damage dealers, use Iron Guard and Overhand Smash cause of the debuffs/buffs attached to them. Don't try regular special spamming unless he is close to death, and even then you need to use Sky High Sidekick and MA Prowess to get much mileage out of them.

Yeah, I've been running the Mero 9.3.2 mission over and over and finally got tons of new good stuff, so I'm good on everything except shoes and hat [still using Jokah's Beanie SMILEY].  Do you have a website with a list of collector's clothing by chance?

Farm a sparkling Fedora from Lucero point, not the best resistances but it adds +15% to IS regen.

Yes.

The clothing buffs are outdated, but you get a good idea of which ones are worth attaining.  For Tengu, I'd consider the Mother Coat, as it now has 18pts Melee/Thrown/Ballistic resistance, in addition to its 15% health regen.

Can you still code enhanced silver bullets?

I remember going in using guns and used firearms expert or whatever the ab is that boost dmg(omg u'd think i'd know the name), then i used the enhanced silver bullets and i was doing massive damage sometimes killing him in 2 -4 bullets.

I kept a few incase but I guss I assumed you could not code them so havnt tried since.

Mother Coat > Direskin Coat? {I believe it's Direskin.. 350+HP 20%+HP Regen?}

+350 HP
25% Health Regen
3% Melee Damage

I think those are the stats, so it is very useful for fighting Tengu as Kung Fu

Mother coat is a 15% chance of heals, divide that by 7 (8 for females) as that piece of clothing still has to get hit first so the Mother Coat is pretty useless as it is really a 2% chance of you getting a heal.

I'd still go with the Direwolf, as an MA vs Tengu.  I was just giving you another option for completist's sake.

If you are using MA, mix the abilities that are not able to be added to your hotbar such as the MA abilities that increase accuracy and damage. Also, friends can help more than anything. I know you are aiming for soloing this thing, but if you can even get Combat Enhancement 1.0 before you go to Sakura your accuracy will be much higher. Fast Healing 1.0, with the synergy of your Direwolf, should increase your time in interlock.

While it's possible, it's not always best to go at anything alone. You have a lot of information and valuable tips at your disposal, which if you pick and choose the right ones, you should be able to take this thing.

I ended up having a friend with a 31 who had sim leveled up come in.  I'd get tengu to about 1/4 health roll out and heal.  He'd have his sim jump in for a few seconds while I /sit then I'd finish tengu off.  No masks yet though D;

I can solo tengu at 38.

Basically what I do is wear all of the IS regen gear I can, other clothes just have melee damage/resist on them for extra boosts. I pop a TB, grab a few health pills and just ability spam. I use the karate upgrade for the extra damage. Now, as long as you are tactic switching (yeah I know, lame) you should be able to string a few specials in a row nicely. And if you need to regen some IS, throw it in aikido and block for a few rounds. As long as you have hyper block on he shouldn't touch you much. Also, remember to switch back to kung fu style in between specials to hopefully get some added accuracy for states.

Since you are on Vector, I can probably show you how I do it. If you're interested that is.
