Is there anywhere I can download MXo for free?

I had some PC issues and had to go back to my factory settings on my C drive, and afterwards found out that I only have 1 of the 3 MXO discs to reinstall the game. I sure dont want to buy the game again, so if anyone knows where I can download the game for free please let me know. Thanks - Keppen

[Matrix Online]
As the Matrix Online was not built on Sony's Launchpad, the internet install process is different. If you have trouble with the steps below, please visit the Matrix Online Technical Support forum for additional help.

If you would like to try patching the entire game from the patch program, please follow these steps.

1. Download the Matrix_Install.zip file to your Desktop.
2. Create a new folder for your Matrix Online game to be installed into:
A. Double-click on My Computer
B. Double-click on Local Disk (C) (You may need to click on "Show the contents of this disk" SMILEY

C. Double-click on Program Files (You may need to click on "Show the contents of this folder" SMILEY

D. Click on FILE-->New-->Folder (at the top of the window) and name the folder Matrix Online.
3. Now double-click on the Matrix Install.exe file on your Desktop to open it.
4. Click on the Edit menu at the top of the window, and choose Select All.
5. Click the Edit menu again, and choose Copy.
6. Now switch to the MXO directory you created, and choose Edit->Paste.
7. Right-click on Launcher.exe and choose Send To->Desktop (Create Shortcut).
8. Close all open windows, and then double click on the Shortcut to launcher.exe to start The Matrix Online.

Choose to do a Full System Check from both the End User License Agreement screen, and from the Username/Password screen. This will allow you to download the entire game from the patch servers.

Cool ill try it asap and if it works Ill patch the game while I sleep SMILEY . Anyways thanks for the fast reply Juryman! Ill let ya know if I have any problems with it - Keppen

Those steps were made a long time ago and, sadly, they are a little goofy. I need to re-write them at some time.

i just had my motherboard fry and my old comp had mxo disk 1 in it because i recently re-installed/re-subbed.

i had to use these directions but i also had to download and install

mfc71.dll and msvcr71.dll for this method to work.

just thought i'd add that info in.
