Now gonna add to youtube SMILEY

As for the video, the heavy use of voice work certainly makes it different from what we've seen before in MxO vids.

Unfortunately, this can be both good and bad. Voice and Mic quality are absolutely vital. Overall it was definately good but there are a couple of nasty microphone spikes and background fuzz, again, unfortunately, one or two blemishes like that really detract from the overall experience.

My one piece of advice would be to really work hard perfecting the quality of audio.

The Nice Part

Pretty good. Well shot with good location choice. Nice use of voice acting. Good actors. No obvious lag in the shots. Good overall quality.

The "Where do lynch mobs get the torches from?" Part

*To the makers and actors of the film. Do not read the following if you do not have a thick skin. I write this meaning to help you improve on your product in the future*

If you put up a 200+ meg download tell people it's a 200+ meg download. 30+ minutes for me to download that. heh. I don't think it needed to be that big of a file either but that's just my personal opinion.

Credits are too long at the beginning. One fifth of the movie is title and credits.

Voice actors must enunciate. I had a difficult time understanding what some of the characters were saying. With no mouth to look at enunciation is very important. Speak slowly and clearly. It's not a race. heh. If the character is a fast talker make sure to pronounce each and every syllable.

Occasionally there was far to much dead air between characters speaking. It's gotta POP man... gotta have rhythm. lol.

Dialogue was stilted at points and made little sense to me sometimes. I don't know any of these people. Never met a FA. I was a bit confused as to who these folks in white were for quite a while.

The movie was too long for what it was in my opinion. A number of scenes could have been shortened without touching the dialogue or basic actions of the characters.

The Final Result

Good job. A lot of things in this movie you don't see in a lot of MxO movies. Like voice acting.

Not for action junkies.

SMILEYSMILEYSMILEYSMILEY out of 5.

*p.s. Residual Self Image is where these are supposed to go I believe.*

Couple of other things,

At the begining theres a reference to someones controller calling them. I dont think that's quite right. Controllers are people like tyndall, flood and gray. Operators are the ship/crew guys.

Also, and i know this is nitpicking but i have to say it all the same as feedback, some of the dialogue and scripts are quite... err... unmatrixy. Now i don't know what any of you are like IC but i dunno, it just doesn't feel entirely 'cool' at times.

I guess you think, that everyone can afford a high resonence mic?  Is what you assuming?  To assume such a thing is really idiotic, as this is just amature type stuff.  Please do not begin to pick out its quality defects, with the voiceovers and such.  I understand, you mean well, but not everyone can afford a high resonence mic.  As you obviously think everyone can, unfortunately.  I believe LittleDevil as it said was in charge of the audio production.  I blieve what he did to the voices(making them all roomy), was a way to try, and eliminate as much bad quality of the voices, as possible, as well as to give the feeling of actually being in a room.  Please refrain from statments like those Cloudwolf, and skyscream, as you must understand, its all amature stuff.  I do not know why you would bother posting about improvments that could be made when it is known that it isnt possible.

I wish you would please save your comments, as they are coming off as non-constructive critisism.  I say non-constructive because you know its amature stuff, and not everyone can afford a high resonence (or density) mic.  I am trying my best to explain how your comments will not be taking well with others.  ML themselves will not care, as they know this already, but others (mainly those who dont like carebares) will say certain things that will make you a little...  angry.  I say again please refrain from saying things like this when you know there is no way it can be anymore improved.  When you should be saying "Good movie!"  And be on your way.  Either way, I despise people who say things they know have no basis with what is actually going on.

Thank you have a nice day.  SMILEY

For what's being done you don't need a special mic brandon, a decent mic to get some nice sound quality can come to around $30 to $35 at bets buy. It's more of less the software used to record the file's and compress edit them. As i know about audio engineering and studio recording getting good sound quality isnt expensive nor hard.

I feel that everyone has left constructive criticsim, if your claiming the work to be amature at best that's not sending out a good vibe to the public you want to view the film. Never put your work down, and if you feel so inclined to claim the work amature, the suggestions and postive/negative feedback is needed in order for it to evolve and become better for the second film.

Wow dude, chill. SMILEY

Audio quality in this context is mostly down to software/voice technique/mic positioning/audio format.

Claiming to need a high quality professional mic is a little uneducated...

Its a great movie, with some minor faults. I am sorry for trying to help the makers out for their next one. SMILEY

Though, without feedback nothing would ever get better ya know.
