Hmm, round trip flights are relatively cheap from my area.  Looks like plenty of  hotels in nearby Tijuana Mexico.  I've never been to San Diego or Tijuana.  The look close on the map, anyone know how far apart are they from each other in terms of travel time by car?

..it's 20 mins from San Diego to Tijuana on the 5 Freeway...ROFL

How old are you? Have you ever been to Mexico? TJ is known for being a ruckus city in a bad way...

Hmm, 20 mins is close, that's tempting.  I'm 28, never been to TJ, I've heard there are some good times down there.  I've been to some pretty bad spots, work in teh ghetto now, how bad could it be?

It'd be a interesting to check out SOE but I'd have to do something more than that.  I'm not sure how much the comic con appeals to me.

Are there any other area attractions besides sea world?

I'd recommend that you look for areas that are a bit north of the Con. Look for ones close to the light rail system which provides quick transportation all around San Diego.

There's tons of different attractions as well but it depends on what you like. Balboa park is nice for museums and such, the world famous San Diego zoo is right there as well. Plus there's Seaport Village right next to the Con which is always fun to visit. So yes there are some nice things to do while in San Diego. :smileytongue:

hmm, my account will still be...alive by then, maybe I can hitchike from south carolina.  Then find a ride back, or, swim to japan, and meet with my homie there, then...um...well, the japanese are resourceful, and, uh, aslong as I'm back before august 15th, I'm good!

Well, chances are, wont see you there, but, I'd love to donate a bucket of oysters to the tusked one.  And, a bowel of lettuce the our lil Rarebit.  Wait, now I'm sad...I just saw that any chance of me chillin with teh bit have been shatterd, I'm gonna go reflect...and cry.  Maybe even sleep, cus I am kind of tired....

This post is basically spam...yeah.

Tijuana is considered to be Mexico's biggest illicit drug and prostitution center, and some of it... not... pretty. Anywho, take Raijinn's advice, lol:
