Patch System Error (Code -47)

Well, apparently there's either something wrong with the patch server or there's something wrong with my computer. My game is unable to open the patch server (http://patch.thematrixonline.com:70...01e00111126c8ba)
and it says no connection made in a browser. So I have to ask, anyone else able to connect, or do I have to reinstall my game and try again?

P.S. SOE hates me.

I've had a wee search around the Tech suport forum. Try giving your router, modem and computer a reboot. Looks like that fixed it for a few people.

Does it now? I'll go restart everything, see if thats it....it's also wierd that I can't access a few other sites, so if this doesn't work I'll be leaning towards a viral issue, but thanks for the advice.

Edit: Yeah, that did it....unfortunately I was dumb enough to post this is General Discussion and not here, so I missed the five or so other threads about this. Thanks man.
