Can you feel Time slipping down your spine? It's just a feeling you can't ignore isn't it? Always there, haunting you where ever you go. You can't escape from it. If something else doesn't kill you Time will.

Time in it's self cannot die. Only carriers can, clocks, ones such as myself, all slaves to it, like you... but more aware as to the purpose. Purpose, as we all know, is what defines us.

Time is not an ocean. Oh no, that is a lie. Time is a river, flowing in one direction, with many paths. All of them lead to an ocean.. an Ocean of Death. Any choice you make can only make your path longer... or shorter, choose wisely for that may be the last choice you make, the end will always be in that Ocean, a sad, desolate and destroyed place... where the very fabric of time is so tightly knitted that nothing will change... But you can't change anything anyway. That's a common misconception.

Time cannot be changed although many think that. Time remains the same. Destiny, however, can be altered. Reliving choices and choosing different paths is not the result of a "Time Machine" but of what would more appropriately be named a "Destiny Changer". You see, your paths are all laid out for you, but for every path you take, the alternate paths and used in an alternate dimension. Even this Thesis... In some of those this never happened, so what makes you think you're the original? Exactly.

All paths lead to that horrible Ocean, but where does it begin? The Sea of Eden. The beginning. Where all life starts and time is most unstable, leading to creation.

What is creation? Just some horrible experiment from this Sea. The big bang you think? Explosion, life is a failed experiment, an experiment, like many, to control Time. So what is god then? Not a being, an essence. Time is god. But then we're leaving someone out aren't we? Fate...

Fate is another god, leading, well corrupting you into making choices for Times benefit. Leading you forever into that horrible Ocean. There is nothing you can do to stop it. Only make the most of what you have. Time is precious, the most precious material you will ever have. There is nothing before it, there is nothing after it. There is only life and death. Time will see to it. So will his pawns.

Everyone is a pawn of Time.

Well I was asked questions/contradicted here and replyed as follows

Sea of Eden is something you will NEVER find, because we have what you would call life currently creating life. The original sea is gone. Dried up with the failed experiment. However, the Sea now has... oh lets call them ponds... you know, the womb and all it's fluids would be your new Sea. And control of time is the term used to explain to everyone. Yes, we do control time to a cretin extent, but not to the extent where we can make changes to the past, which is what I mean.

You take purpose in the wrong light. A light of reds instead of a light of blues. Consider this. Purpose from what you've been told is what you're MEANT to do. But that's not so, it is what you do that creates purpose. Purpose is defined by human action. Human action is defined by taste, likes and dislikes. Fear, hope, love, hate, courage, and many other emotions and traits define ones taste.

All choices in life lead to death, perhaps I was a bit to... vague on that. The choices that are made reflect how long your path is. Like a builder laying stone, skip a stone, perhaps the tower will fall tomorrow. As for your little choice on vanilla or chocolate... perhaps one has an allergy to chocolate? There are to many factors which is why one decision could kill you.

By no means live your life like no tomorrow, for that may shorten your path.

Death here is looked upon by human eyes. You think of death you don't see rainbows and butterflys. You see Hiroshima after a the bomb hit. You see... for a movie reference The Day After Tomorrow. Death is what you make it sure, I agree. But from the stand point of life, who wants to die?

As for failed experiment. You say it didn't fail, I say it did for this simple reason. It did not archive the control, or outcomes predicted. The control of time would be the ability to think to a moment of time (perhaps memory? Which I contradict now) and change it. Your rant on changing time with the post was mine about the alternate dimension. All things are possible, and all things happen through time and space... but that's another rant for later.

There is only life and death, I didn't say life didn't come after death now did I? What happens in one world stays in one world.

The pawn of Time, yes Time isn't exactly able to control us, but I mentioned destiny, which is a... shall we say brother of time. Destiny is our forced path to death. Death, as mentioned, is the ending to all paths. Destiny is just your choice of paths, your decisions. The ice cream you mentioned could be the little change that leads to something much bigger.

Either way I am jumbled all over the place in your questions. But I do hope my point is ... Received well in due Time...

Lets talk more shall we?

We know that everything has an equal and opposite. So for the explosion that created life we can touch upon an unknown variable of what could very well be called anti-life. But is it truly anti-life as we would think? Is it just nothing? I wouldn't think so. Perhaps you may end up seeing the same way too, perhaps not. Choice is what makes us special in that way.

This so called anti-life may very well just be your shadow, if I may be so crude. That is the simplest way I can explain it. So while you're grasping that I will lead you into the next. Anti-life isn't a state of non being. Not in the terms we see it is. Yes, it is our opposite, but then is the opposite of a spoon a fork? Both are still there, what makes anti-life so different.

From the explosion that created life, ripping the fabric of time, came an implosion on the other side. If you want to go so far as to call it a dark side be my guest, we'll get more into that in a bit. This implosion would have created something very much the same yet very different. A life difficult to comprehend while naming it the opposite of what we are. Think of it as a reflective floor. You see everything upside down. Even yourself, just backwards. So in this otherworld I, like you here, am right handed.. leaving me again, a minority there.... Easier to understand now?

Now as for calling this a dark world. Darkness provokes fear, like death, something we don't want at the present time. Something teenagers and below, perhaps even some adults, cannot yet comprehend.  Death and darkness represent an unknown. And the unknown is the greatest fear of many alive today. The term dark world would impress upon the fact that everything "living" there would be the evil and crude, but that's not the fact. We skip a variable. Personality, a soul if that's what you would like.

The so named failed experiment did in fact succeed in minor terms, not the terms they would have enjoyed. This explosion created life from scratch. A simple one in a million shot that provided us with bare minimum in the ability to control time. We have memory, the ability to life the past. We have a mind to think with, which gives us the ability to alter memories. What actually happened in Time is forever stuck that way, but Time Capsules, the mind of any being, can be altered. Not to mention that the future is our doing. But all paths are set. Like a system of waterways, your choices are the control to sealing one way and opening the next.

Back on our unknown world the same thing is happening, they make choices, they are presented with consequences. Them being your poler opposite is not possible because of choice and personality.

Anti-life is life in death.

...Time? a god? Please. Time is a parallel. we are, in a sense, submerged in it, along with space. Time is simply an address of our lives and the events that occur within them. I refuse to believe that my life is being controlled in ANY way by time. Does time decide when you settle down? does time decide for you when to fight, when to stand down? or when to die?...No. Your choices...YOUR actions decide all of this. YOU decide what to do with the TIME you are given, TIME however, does not decide what to do with YOU. Time is not a god...not even close.

I didn't say Time was more a god then Hades who only controls the under world. I didn't say Time was an all powerful god did I? That seems to be your view, and if I may lets get started shall we?

Lets review what makes a god, and you may correct me on this becuase my basis in Greek and Roman Mythology is rather... untouched upon. Let's pick upon them shall we?

Qualities :

Doesn't die. Hey go figure, Time is timeless.
Controls people to a certain extent is the basis you touched upon... Well think like this.

You have a split second decision to make, does time cloud your judgment? Do you wish you could go back and change it? You feel pressured to do what is easier at that moment because Time is fighting against your better judgment? I find myself answering yes. For those of us still in school. Multiple choice test, 5 seconds left, 6 questions. Look one over and get it right or guess? Does Time not control you then?

Has a so deemed purpose. Check to that too, Time is there to limit you. Keep you in check, like a Queen in a game of chess, the nastiest piece in terms of raw power, but also the most useful due to sheer movement, now some may argue the knight is the most useful, but I'm making an example, so please do forgive me. Time fights against me as I post and I have more demanding things to do with it.

Now the other side of that coin is Time also helps. Sometimes it is the greatest of healers. Mends a broken heart, an open wound, a heated argument. Time is this essence is a loving and caring god who wants nothing more then to help... but back on that other side, from the moment you're born, or get something Time is there to try and steal it. Stealing your life, your friends, feelings, family, love. All of it will be gone, but remember, we have what we so deemed "anti-life" to go through next. Just another cycle in the circle of life, as so put by many a person.

Next quality to pick on, well you name one. Like I said my Mythology is untouched upon as such that my history teachers wouldn't play with it.

Perhaps some of you believe me, perhaps some of you do not. But I will be writing a story on this to put emphisis on my points. Either way, maybe it will be a good read, maybe neolives4tw will come back and say it sucks, but I'm going to enjoy it, so why not you?

Much that you say is true. but you seem to be talking in terms of how time affects you in the present. you forget that time can be expressed in 3 major ways. Past time, present time, and future time. Time is so complex that you cannot classify it into just one word. even if that word is...well.."time". as far as what you said about time being pressure...yes that is true, but do you think a few little slip-ups caused by preasure under time have a huge affect on our lives in the "end"...this is indeed an awkward topic to debate on, because time is, as far as we can imagine, infinite. but no human mind can comprehend infinite time. I would be in utter disbeliefe if you said that you completely understand it. That's going too deep into it. the only part of time that matters to me is the part that affects ME. The time that you are born all the way to the day you die (mabey even after that. ..who knows?)  is the only interval of time you should worry about. What is it that brings on this topic, i wonder?

(I'll kill you if you make me wait ages again, I swear I'll get on Xitem and pwn you!)

Exactly, why focus on something other then what effects us? The now. I don't need to classify time anymore then that, but it's fun to speculate and see what other information others might have on the beginning and ends. Yes ends. Think of it like... oh... Let's use our ability trees as a reference. Take the operative block of the operative tree. It spreads out, and has an ending on one side from a choice, but the other let it come back together for an ending. That was the crudest analogy I could come up with. Now I said that when we die that may or may not be it, I can only guess that an opposite world exists but who says we'd ever remember it? I base this on normal things like shadows, laws of reaction equals reaction, and so on. I am fully prepared to be wrong when I die, that's what makes it interesting. At that last moment I will find a way back here and say something to the effect of "*CENSORED*, I was wrong..." or whatever. Time will forever flow forward, but that doesn't mean it's not like a roller coaster loop. So live for the now if you want to, but better opportunities will present themselves in your future... perhaps....

Lets get back to talking a bit more on a subject of Destiny. Consider this. You have a choice but feel compelled to choose one. Do you know why? Is it a moral choice? A choice for your benifit? Fact here is you have no choice at all. Destiny has been working and corrupting you from the beginning. Spinning your "soul" into what it deems fit for your purpose. Lets apply this in a silly analogy to life.

We'll use choking here as a means of destiny.

Person A goes into a restaurant and orders a cheeseburger and a glass of milk. (You'll see why it's milk in a second) This person begins to choke on the cheeseburger and hacks it up, nicely, clean. All averted, but the coughing has made his throat parched, and chucks of food and phlegm are stuck in there still. He begins to drink the milk unaware and a bit of the milk sticks to the phlegm, causing him to think he may be choking again, so he chugs more and begins to choke on that. Inevitable, through the unkindness of people to help, he drowns in a glass of milk. Accident? I think not.

Now in a more realistic view you find yourself walking down the street on an ordinary day. Your purse/wallet bulging, because you are such a business man/woman. Now your average burglar comes alone and demands, at gunpoint, your stuff. You happily disagree and walk away. Crisis averted. That wasn't so bad, you proved you were tougher and didn't give up, they even teach that in school. Humming to yourself as you walk down the street you get into a run in with the mafia. Why? Because your purse/wallet is just that big. This time you aren't asked, you're killed for it, you die. Happy ending, just not for you.

Now, still a silly situation, but more into a real world application. Seriously, how many milk related deaths do you think there are? Like 3 a year.

So destiny molds you into what you need to be for it's purpose. Your death. Time just helps it along and provides helpful incite into "doing your own thing".

Free Will, my friend, is just another form of control.

Here we go to another revelation I had. All your life you stand, fighting death. But do you really? Do you defy death by living? Or is it that you defy life? Look around, everything that dies feeds life. You feed the monster you so very closely clung to. I say this not based upon moral aspects or the human soul, whatever you want to call it, but based upon facts. You all fear death so much. But you live again, just not the same. Only the body dies, the rest goes on forever and ever.

Now, I'm not saying use your loved ones ashes to fertilize your new plants. There are moral objections in that one. But everything you ear, everything you breath, everything you touch has some part of someone else on it. You don't die, get over it.

I guess we should broaden the topic. Do memories matter? Why do we forget them in our dreams then?

Society, the society you live in, was set up by everyone else. To their standards, moral, physical, what have you. Eat, drink, play, even sleep by their schedules. One uniformed conformity. But you fight that, for some of you daily, for most every night, when you sleep. The parameters of perfect imperfection are stripped away and you are who you are. You are free. You sleep away the pain they've given you, the memories they inflicted and soar. You've noticed it no? Sleeping away the pain? It's happened, at least, if you've lived at all. If you've conformed to fighting society, or going along with it, be it a little or a lot, you've experienced pain. And your body rocks you to sleep, pouring soothing rivers down your face and onto your pillow. Unleashing your last defense, sleep. And you soar. You forget your memories, the bad things, and you wake up refreshed. But the heart cannot let go. Your mind wakes, refreshed, ready to face another day with a sunny outlook, until the heart pulls it down.

be it anything from getting fired from a job, losing a love one, or something as trivial as being made fun of, the heart won't let it go so easily. And you slowly corrupt, becoming what they always wanted you to be, just like them. Then you start to notice. You see their fake smiles, you read the eyes. You see the society they've set up for you is one of pain but you're to far in to stop it. You spiral down and you learn to cope. You get over it, and the scar lingers to remind you what not to do again, and you go about being unhappy the rest of your life. But wait, that's wrong, you smile at your co-workers, don't you? You say hi, you laugh, you make jokes, right?

Isn't there another way, to hold onto who we are? To smile because of what's happened? To frolic in the fields of the flowers of happiness? Or is that another illusion? What is the cost of happiness now? If I am the cost of my own happiness I don't want to play. Memories are scars, drop them. We forget in our dreams because of who we are and who we strive to be. If we lived by our terms a lot of people would individually be happier. The few for the many? Or just me for you? Or have I just told you how it really works?
