Well, I guess here's another marketing idea that SOE has ripped off from its subscribers.

Looks as though we are victims of our own success.

ummmmm I see your point, but myspace is known for promoting and advertising for just about everything including our "mothers and kitchen sink etc;".  I don't think they needed mxospace to get the idea.

Yeah, technically, did we think it was a good idea because of the success of WoW's Myspace site, amongst others?

they hardly ripped us off as its common for any game to have a myspace now, WoW, Stargate, AoC.

No, they didn't rip us off.  Not really.  I don't look at it that way.  But does it make me upset?  Yeah.

It just makes me sad that they didn't do one for mxo before we did, and it wouldn't hurt my pheelings at all if they suddenly decided to.  Ours is player made... not official.  It would be nice to have both types on myspace.  (I know I'm dreaming) >_>

I have to hand it to them though... they did a great job on this one.  Just think what they 'could' do with an official one phor mxo.

My point was, SOE hadn't done it for a single game until we did it (successfully) for MxO without their help. So yeah, I feel a little ripped. You should too. But w/e...

Maybe if they had a small link to our page or something it'd be better. *shrug*

They didn't do it too well, any link I try boots me back to www.myspace.com whether I'm logged in or not, UK, US or Int version. In fact the only link that seemed to work was their blog page

I guess I'm too much of an optimist.  It's possible that they did this one to see how well it would work.  Looking at the number of phriends they have on that site... looks to me like it worked pretty well.  Maybe it's the start of something they decide to do phor all their games.

'IF' they used the success of mxospace to base their decision on doing one phor dcuo... then in a way, I kinda pheel honored.  But... still screaming on the inside.

I hope the trend continues, when they realize how many people they can reach through myspace.  That was the purpose all along with mxospace.... reaching more people... and in the end, that's all I really care about.

Why? You shouldn't be. Don't know one person that would play this DC Universe game and not WoW or CoH/V. It's surprising that they didn't create a myspace for EQ, or Starwars Failaxies. And, in all honesty, I've never heard of DC Universe until I clicked that link. I think it needs all the advertising it can get.

I doubt they looked towards MxOSpace for inspiration considering it's freakin' Myspace. Advertising on it is a no-brainer.

Yes she does.

All of the SOE games that we own completely have had Facebook pages for quite a long time.
