i think its gone though improvement since cr2, i used it in pvp and did 850+ damage with each sniper shot, which it should do considering that snipers are powerful.

sniper also goes well with expert rifleman and you can hit sniper shot, immobilising shot (causes root) and the back to concealment for another sniper shot

GUIDE TO OWNING PURPLES WITH SNIPER

(Used myself as Lvl 20)

1. Load Soldier Upgrade

2. Load Rifle Skill

3. Conceal

4. Line up your shot

5. Use Concealed Shot.

*. Easy ownage of any purple-conned npc. Knocks roughly 2/3 of their HP down, and stuns them enough that you can rush them into Interlock and get off another couple of hits, greatly increasing your chance for success.

Feel free to use Drug Buffs or w/e.  Just remember that there's strict timing involved.
