I really, really hate goodbye threads.
But I've unsubbed now to spend time on real life. While technically the last day of the month is my last subbed day I'll probably not be on much. PvP has become the same old same old and I never could get into any player RP.
Might pop in now and again in the coming months but unless something new turns up it'll be a brief visit. As the title implies all my stuff will be saved with my characters so noone is getting it.
I'm not gonna list people here so to all the good guys and girls who I know and got on with, be you Zionite, Merv or Mech -
Take it easy, I'll see you around either here or another future MMO.

I did want to come back for the final days of MxO but due to the superb communications from SOE, I didn't find out about the deadline for re-subbing til a day too late. Which sucks for me but I'm sure a few people (for reasons I can't really fathom considering it's just a game) are glad that I won't be back. Of course this also means that Vinia won't be back either as the wife and I shared the account, although she really was only doing the RP side of it, if you went up against Vin in PvP you really were against me, or if you spoke to her when she was grinding missions, that was also me. It may seem strange but I looked upon MxO with great fondness, I know in my initial goodbye post I said I wouldn't list people but I was intending on coming back after my 4 month detachment to the Falklands which is coming up soon. I didn't really do much RP til too late, the initial creation of Vin and her joining of The Tetragrammaton was me though and the experience was a good one. So for that I want to thank Chaosmare wherever he is now, for recruiting Vinia to Tetra, Beachhead for being such a great figurehead despite his busy schedule ant timezone meaning we didn't see him that often. Also we thank Mithuial, Cadsuane and Eleutherophobia for the experience and their friendship. Also a special thanks to Harpalos who played Vogt, brilliant LO, he really made our MxO experience an immersion so much better. So back to Croesis, PvP and the little bit of RP. I will miss going toe to toe with people such as Mindsweep, Bladepoint, the guys in Les Affranchis who pvp'd and even Bruce and others. I always enjoyed teaming up with people such as Endo, Phara, ViralMaurader, Anxiety and others, be it equal numbers, us vs a zerg or us zerging, it didn't matter. I was never brilliant in PvP as many would attest to, I partook in my share of trashtalk and cheap tactics but I had fun which is really all I played for. As I said earlier I didn't RP much but I'd still like to thank ChloeAnn and Dante21 for being great friends and faction mates. I personally didn't ask or want to know who Liaisons truly were but thanks to the Cyph LO's who I believe were Garu and PBlade and whoever played Esime. Thanks too to Procurator, Gerik, Othinn (grats on 50 btw!), Catzi, Asna, Namroc etc.. for their great community spirit. There are far too many other people to list (although I've listed quite a few now) who, in one way or another, made this community great so thanks to you all. Finally in my post of appreciation, as it turned out to be, a big thanks to TameDragon for posting this on my behalf and for helping me get used to another MMO. So currently, perhaps until SW:ToR or ST:O or SGW I'll be casually playing CoH/V. I doubt that the CoH community will ever be as good as the MxO community but I know a few MxO players there such as Tame, Draqe, Ekaly (who is on the US side though ) and Dtb (who I've not seen yet!) So if anyone else plays, look me up in-game @Croesis or on CoHFaces. Wow, this post turned out longer than I intended and wouldn't be surprised if it causes some tl:dr responses, but if you did read it all and I didn't mention you despite knowing that we got on, I apologise!
