## EMERGENCY ADDENDUM ##

Ok. Things are getting serious and I do mean SERIOUS with a very big capitol letters. There have been meetings all over the city and not just the normal ones between runner and handler, I’m talking some MAJOR players coming out of the woodwork and showing their faces.

The first I’d heard about it I was sitting here with some free time trying to listen to some music when I got a call from PhrogXiX. “Come straight to Dannah Heights” he says, and I’ve known the guy long enough to go when he says go and doesn’t give any explanations.

Sure enough I turn up in Richland and I get told to go to this club, Sphinx, and meet PhrogXiX there. And he’s there all right with a new Merovingian liaison. Her name is Banshae and if she was a human being instead of a piece of code I might have been more interested in her more than ample charms and her Gaelic lilt. She however is not the big news. The Merv must have appointed several new Liaisons over the past few months or so, one more isn’t a cause for alarm or concern.

What was was the sudden appearance of her boss, the Frenchman himself. Me and PhrogXiX had been invited to the club, I really don’t know why and to be honest out side of meeting Banshea I don’t think he did either and neither of us were expecting the sudden influx of operatives that also came along to meet her. There were some tense looks and, even though I know PhrogXiX had been trying to show a level of understanding and reason with them I still felt like it could have erupted any second.

As it happened we were hardly looked at by Frenchy’s operatives who seemed to regard us as somewhat of a non-entity. We might have been busboys for God’s sake for all the attention they paid to us. But when HE walked in I thought that it must have been a trap. I got word from Rapid that the building had been sealed so there was no way out for us. He seemed just as non-plussed about us being there as everyone else was and after his speech he made a point of shaking PhrogXiX’s hands and mine. I made sure that Rapid took a scan of it happening so I could have some proof to show people when I get back home. Either he’s going soft or he’s starting to feel that we Zionists are the least of the Matrix’s problems right now.

Unfortunately outside the club all wasn’t well. Word of the meeting had leaked out and people from both the machine faction and the Zionist extremist camps were outside waiting with weapons ready. Regardless of how many of them recognised PhrogXiX and me, I wasn’t going to stick my head out and get caught in the cross fire. I think that the Merovingian had the same idea because even though he was shaking hands and so forth down stairs, as soon as he came to the club doors and saw what was waiting for him he went back inside. Word is that he so far hasn’t come out of the club so either he’s moved in or he had another way out that we don’t know about. Given that guy I think he’s probably got tunnels all over the **bleep** city.

The boy turned up as well. Yes him. Showed up in tabor park with Novalux and he too was warning people to stay alert with the preparations for this “Piece of Blue Sky” thing that, to may knowledge, has spread to eight locations across the city. It gets better with that one too!

Both Merv and the Kid said that these concerts were of great concern. They each said that there were forces behind them that needed to be watched and could pose a threat to their power bases and their people. But these two weren’t the only ones to say that tonight.

Word was leaked; Lord alone knows how, that non other than THE ARCHITECT HIMSELF put in an appearance! As far as I know this is unprecedented! Never before has the father of the Matrix, the co-creator of the world that I seem to see more than the real one, been seen by so many people at the same time! Not only that but he spoke to them, giving the same warnings as the Merovingian and the Kid gave to their followers.

PhrogXiX and I lucked out on this one though. We arrived too late and the building was sealed against access by anyone other than a Machine operative. Its a sensible course of action and I would have taken it myself if I was in his shoes however it did mean that we missed the chance to see the guy responsible for this whole **bleep** thing which has pissed me off!

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, we got some help from TiltedAxis and Mandlebrot, our fellow captains of Zion. With their help we were able to set up a tap and listen in to the Architects speech and it made for some disturbing listening.

According to him these concert venues that have sprung up are being created by a power, which is outside the matrix itself and is using the power of the matrix to generate them. There have been fluctuations and large drains on the system while these have been set up and he believes that if anything happens at these concerts this weekend that it will over load the matrix leading to a system wide shut down and the death of every individual inside of it, exile, machine AND human alike.

IF he is right, and I hop that he isn’t, then a close watch must be kept on these concert sites around the city and whatever is going to happen must be stopped before it does. Too many lives are at risk this time for there to be any complacency from anyone, from any side. I just hope that I’m still alive this time next week!
