A Letter to the kid => Sent to the ship via Taecross's on board e-mail, before its deletion.
Dear Michael,
I've come to a point where in which it now becomes a necessity that I speak to you, our operatives are turning rogue, your ready to cast them out with no connection to us, your route is leading us to a zone of inactivity and your people are losing faith in the confusion of the world around them.
You wanted them to oppose someone like Taecross, since he is forcing his own agenda at the cost of blue pill life, to stand against one who they were before in place to support. Here you are, our noble leader; the king of the EPN as it were, and we see you a fraction of the time we saw him, and even he is hardly around -though now you'll have him beat as he is no more.
You expected those whose only leadership came from this man, to oppose him at the drop of a hat? Loyalty and Respect are things earned and not given, though I fear many have forgotten that in their admiration of the big names, like you, Niobe and ghost. But today worked as an example, you clearly don't know your troops, your people, as you come in to tell us that he was wrong and we don't support that action. 90% of the epn on site today were apparently helping him as it were, and according to you, those that did would be removed, two things are ridiculous about this statement.
No one helped or stopped Taecross today, not a single person fired upon him, nor struck him, not a single person helped him prep a bomb or even arm one, he did it all on his own. And even at the end, where he stacked the many bombs which overloaded his RSI and served as his demise, not one person helped or stopped him. No matter who says what, everyone around him today was an audience member, regardless of what they wanted to be.
But this letter isn't about that, this letter is a formal request if not demand for your presence for a meeting between you and I, I need to get some facts straight, and only you can help me. I would go to Santia for connection with you, but frankly, I'd rather not wait another 6 months to speak with her. You and I need to have a discussion as I've found my feelings about being here have wavered to an unstable zone.
Perhaps its my ego, or something else, that could serve as the answer to the question "what makes me so special as to meet with you" or "what gives me the right to a one on one" Well those questions are asked by those that will hold you in higher regard than perhaps you deserve. As far as I'm concerned, I feel I'm entitled to it for several reasons. The first would be my devotion and dedication to the cause, it's been unwavering and unchanging since before you even met with us, since before we even truly had your endorsement as it were, and I've still stood by. Secondly I deserve it because I ask for it, this might not entitle me to much in most orgs, but in this one, where you yourself have said were all equals.
Now for the part that makes it like a demand, I ask that you attend based upon a request, you are well within your rights to decline or refuse, but failure to
a)acknowledge this request
or
b)meet with me.
Will result in the submittal of my resignation from the EPN, these things will show unto me you care very little about your people, and even less about the loyal ones. I've grown tired of going through this hell for nothing. Tired of wondering if this hell is even worth it, consider this your last chance to change my mind.
