I can't help but wonder who's decision and direction it was to allow the elite commando suit to be used as a set of well buffed items... We've gone so many months without it which I've been gratefulf for, since I think as these Exiles as not having an appearance that fits the Matrix-lore. Now, not only do we have access to wear the goggles, but the entire suit as a whole. To me, these Exiles have never looked like much of a threat -- just like rubbermen, or maybe jelly from a can. So now, because they're well buffed, they're going to be all over the place. We'll be seeing people mix up these articles of clothing into regular gear, with black socks, rather than shoes or boots. Not to mention, those goggles have the same effect that has been made perpetual and granted as a reward to players -- nullifying their meaning. Its like handing out beta players to new trial subscribers...So, why was this direction chosen for content within the game -- resulting in mass outfits being released that make me in the mood to make a pb&j?

I always loved the Elite Commandos - a cross between redpill leather, intimidating special ops, and humanoid sentinels. The fact that their entire getup is a *set* of high level quest items is awesome...
Now, about the General's beret...
Area K Jacket = Best ever.
I agree there are concerns with creating a lot of 'out of place' looking players in a city that is supposed to convice as 'generic 1990's earth' etc.... however I love the outfit and cant wait to get it. Overall the problem is making anything so good you almost cant resist using it...and hence everyone ends up looking the same...hopefully the components here will be intermingled and not intensify that problem.
we need more very good items with very similar buffs so people can mix and match more without ruining their buffs or conversely having the best buffs insist you wear only one outfit etc....
I quite like my Razergirl cycle suit but the best part of it is the horrible mis match of clothhing it hides....
if we cant have a new clothing system or a much bigger wardrobe to select from - could we instead perhaps expand on clothing and steadily eliminate shielded or armoured gear in favour of enhanced items so we can have more combinations of clothing without compromising our buffs and/or can we look at clothing styles so that it isnt just shortboots that appear with any buffs over 45 etc

It's also very useful against Gunmen as well as Hackers, even if you're not a Gunman yourself.
