I used the sim tree and PvP constructs which for the most part are pretty empty.

That actually works!

Been using sims as part of my mish loadout on Syntax, and they're tough little bastids, and have saved me from dying quite a few times!

It seems none of you have ever played Korean RPGs, eh? That's grind.
That's why those games suck so much....
Never played Granado Espada, eh? If I had the money, I'd resub anytime. The music, scenery and gameplay is godlike.

I forgot how f***ing hard the Unlimit missions were.

"Kill all enemies" FTL.

But yeah, doin' all those missions is the best way to reach level 50... by yourself.

Yesterday I found myself in a room with 6 NPCs all looking to kill me.

I managed to roll out and got to the elevator with my health bar nearly at 0.

My sim was left in there, and she went crazy on them, and had killed 3 of them while I was regenerating.

Gave her a quick heal, and helped her to kill the remaining 3.

My sim showed amazing fortitude, like Chuck Norris in a mosh pit!

How did you lvl 50s overcome the mission grinding blues? At the moment I am lvl 12 and have purchased all of the archive mission packs to catch up with the story, as well as offer me some deviation from the monotany of the standard missions. Is there another way to break the cycle? Any help would be appreciated.

The Smith mishes are a great opportunity.  You can buy the cookie, run the mish, skip the smithlings, get the brownies, and complete it, all in less than five minutes.  That's a guaranteed mission xp/info payout for no risk at all.  What's not to like?

Other stuff, like everyone else says: archived mishes, mission crits, and don't forget the neighborhood contact missions.  Those have great personality and stories.

The neighborhood exile mishes can only be run once, but the archives can be repeated as often as you like.

Archives are defo the best way to get xp but its the fact u need to watch out that u haven't already done some of the mishs.

Its a bit unfair on newbies that come here and get a bit of grindin done with a 50 and the 50 is doin archives. I ran into this problem and now when i'm a lowbie I make sure not to do any archives with anyone incase i end up doing them myself.

Redoing archive missions have no effect on your reputation or anything else.  I've run through them a few times in fact, and will do so again soon!

It's worth it for the goodies you can get.

You think one proxy trees good? SMILEY When i had my second computer working i had two proxies, stick second comp on follow i run around. Thats three active people attacking fourth buffing sims SMILEY I used to just run around letting my sims kick *CENSORED*. Also kicked tengu's *CENSORED* a few times with this lol he cant keep up with all three of us >.< unless one dies or the comp crashes ^^ then your royaly....

Having worked on my 4th 50 got him to 32 and had to cancel to money issues i've started another 4th who's 20 hopefully i'll work on them both when i get my other account up and running again >.< How do i combat mission grind? well for me its all about the company SMILEY having someone to talk to (real or NPC SMILEY) helps you forget about the missions and have fun while nicely gaining experience (: i rarely use music thanks to the uber indoor lag i get now SMILEY but hopefully i'll be able to sort something out soon as it does help..that or a radio station. I just reached 43 after just over a month without even realizing it.. I'm not even tired of missions all that much. Here's what I did so far:

- Mission with friends: I spend a lot of time spamming chat while doing missions, probably because I tend to multi task a lot so I can do both lol

- Fast missions: Sometimes when I'm in grind mode and wanna grind for a couple hours, slap some music on or voice chat with friends (to keep me awake), do assassination missions if I have an extra person with me (one to kill, the other with lockpick/hack loaded), and do them as fast as possible, leaving 2 mins per mission area. Usually get full XP, then immediately start the next.

- Mission with other lvl 50s: You get much more XP when doing so

- Do archive missions: Esp with lvl 50s, you get tons the first time you do them. However never do them twice, its not worth it. Try getting arch missions for other orgs that you don't plan on doing for the tradeable collector item. If I've done an arch mission before, I like doing ones where you have to kill everyone.. you may get crap XP for the mission but the 20+ NPCs at 20-30k XP each sure make up for it.

- Spare parts: Ok, it's a little redundant to require more lvl 50 help, but it's totally worth getting a lvl 50 (with full inventory) to farm them on random so you get it. I just traded in 40 spare parts for 1.2 million XP.. and we only farmed for less than an hour because they drop so frequently from the 01 soldiers.

- Nodes: I tend to do nodes only when the boss NPC is at my level, usually get the most out of your XP that way. I usually end up forgetting that there are more to get, ever 3-4 lvls you usually have a ton to go for anyway.

- Hardlines: It's simple, but seriously; get a blip file installed on your game and go hunting. Just follow along on your map and grab them. Downtown is JAMMED with HL's and I haven't even started grabbing most of them yet. But like node keys, I try to do them depending on the gang NPC lvl of that area.

- Experience boosters: I got one from datamining once.. NPCs spawned while mining, and while looting I received one of these little suckers. Gives you 10% of your total level required. I think I ran it when I was in my 20s and got 500k XP. Then again I coulda totally made those numbers up because I don't really know a lot about it, but it I did 500k in my 20s lol.

Happy grinding!
