TSR's, a question about promotional items

I was told to ask one of you about allowing me to use an old promotional item code. Its for one of the coats with a burning eyeball. I assume saying please isn't gonna make a difference?

If this is about a rare item in-game to be used for an event then this is something you would have to take up with Rarebit.
If it's about an in-game item you lost then you will need to /ccr it in-game.

As for the "one of the cats with a burning eyeball"... I can only say purple monkey dishwasher. What are you on about?

Long story short, I left for a while to focus on school and I'm back playing now and I realized I still haven't gotten a response to this from a TSR. I asked a CSR in game again and he said to post here again so I am. Again, the object is one of the leather coats with a burning eyeball on the back of it.

There is really nothing Tech Support can do about in game content. I do not know why you were referred here, but this is really a GM issue.

Then who exactly should I address this question to. It seems no one knows who, although I can understand why TSR wouldn't have any control over this based upon how its not really a tech support issue. Oh well, at least now I know.

The Code came free with an old issue of PC Gamer i believe. (Could be wrong) it was a game key that allowed acces to the jacket. that was only available if u had bought the magazine regesterd with tthat game key and play the game. i dont think its posible to change your game key. i remember the question coming up ages ago when people wer asking about getting HJ beta. (They wanted to change there Game key to allow themselfs to get the HJ beta, While still having there active characters..)

Its also non tradable so he cant just start the trial trade it and then deactivate the magazines Trial key account. the jacket is a one of a kind and not many people have it any more. I wish they made it tradable. >.<

Well, its not a game key really. the instructions tell you to go to a now non existant link and there should be a way to put in codes specifically for promotional items. Its only 8 digits long after all.

Yeah, the old monolith/WB account system had a dedicated section for inputting promotional codes.
