I know there is things like the helmet, glasses, shoes and earpiece but when you ware the helmet it will look odd because there is no out fit like the body suit or anything to match with it.

Once can hope this may be in the works, but we'll have to see. I think just a SWAT/Riot Control outfit in general would be a nice addition to this game.

Personally, I find it remarkable that new clothing comes in the form of NPC-wear, but perhaps that's just me.  A full outfit would just exacerbate the pain.

Course you don't see too many female SWAT geezers around, so me wonders how that will work...SMILEY

Thats the only way we can genuinely get new clothing though, steal it from existing NPCs.

We really do need the SWAT suit, that helmet doesn't go with anything (I have never seen it with the Elite Commando suit yet but it has the gold sheen so I dont think it will quite go).  It would be interesting to see if Rarebit can get the SWAT suit to fit females (if it doesn't already exist) as if that does occur, it could mean we could also see Male face Masks and lots of other similar things which are for one gender and not the other.

Not really.  Area K was an entirely new concept, as far as I know.  Even if it wasn't, it's not beyond the realms of reason to envisage new clothing.  I would guess it's a matter of expediency as opposed to anything else.

It is an existing clothing model, just re-skinned.  Same model as the Jayne Half Duster I think.

Its a testament to Rarebit's skinning though, with the Area K and the Red Winter Coat, they take an extra look to realise we have seen the models before.

I was actually going to make a thread similar to this, I'd like to see something similar to either Captain Raedars outfit(or like the commandos) or the SSR security outfits introduced.

Actually, if you look under the masks of the normal SWAT members (not SSR, etc.) most are female.  The body doesn't change because Flak Jackets are extremely unflattering.

I was going to chime in with a response very similar to this, the clothing is made for protection not to show curves in the body or for comfort.

As Chemuel said, nearly 70% of all SWAT guards I encounter are female, with female names like: Jayla Kenton and so forth. And you can tell by the way they walk and run as well.

I've been able to work out a fairly good commando type look, but when it comes to the SSR helmet, its really hard to get something to look right, especially with that colour scheme.

Also, it looks pretty cool to put on the blue headlamp while wearing the helmet.
