We're going to have to get some of our critical data out of the Matrix before the Machines can get their hands on it. They're just moving too fast right now for us to be able to protect everything.

Nice work, Soldiers! We're back up and running now. Well... for the moment, anyways.

Good job, everybody, especially with that little hicup in the works. All we have to do now is defend it from Machine attacks...

Easier said than done, I guess. But we've got to do whatever we can to protect our interests while the Machines try to destroy them... and us.

Niobe ran as fast as she could to the hard line after she saw me and my Machinist compatriots. I guess she learned a little lesson after the last beating we gave her... the one that cost her that sham of a Truce.

Zion's hour of judgement draws nearer, this can only delay the inevitable for so long...

Hehe, Zion thinks this temporary victory will win them the war?  They are playing in the machine's world, a world where they hold all the cards.

Still intent on trespassing I see. I wonder how Zion would react if we sent in a few Sentinels to retrieve some data the Machines happened to leave there last time they were shutting the place down.

((Some excellent screenies there btw, looked like a great event))

Who said Zion wants to win this really more than just plain stupid war? We're just going to end it. Peacefully.

As I recall, we put you down pretty quickly.

An uplink like this takes planning, almost as much planning as the city itself, it is not an 'off the cuff' thing. This is one of the reasons why the Machines called of the truce, your claims as to requiring more space seem to be only half true.
An uplink to the Matrix means that an assault on the Machines whilst in the relative protection of New Zion is entirely possible.

So do any of you really have doubts left as to why the Machines called off the truce?
