Stuck at Authenticating

I just began to play again on my new laptop. But whenever I try to logon it always stays at authenticating. But when I try to log on with my desktop I have no problems.

Vista or XP?

Are you and admin to your machine?

Are you running a firewall other than the windows firewall?

Im running it on Vista, I am an admin, and Im using Trend Micro Internet Security.

On Vista is UAC on or off?

Is Trend running in learning mode?

Trend says its a two way firewall.. You will have to allow launcher and after each patch the new launcher through.

Listen to this man! (at least I hope it's a man..)

The culprit is likely Vista UAC which you can try disabling or anything else acting as a firewall between you and the internet.
