The fields...?
The fields...?!
Oh my.... :: Shudders a little::
Morraeon: Oh no, not nonsense in the Real... I hate the Real.
Loved the mission; despite the fact that Dezreki's character hated not shooting anything, I loved the amount of information given out throughout the mission.
I found this to be a particularly engaging mission. The development of long debated Matrix universe concepts was very interesting. The way that aspect of the mission, current events and tie in to the cinematic were blended was done very well in my opinion. Job well done for sure.

Forewarned is fore-armed. Thanks, Swotty-Fangs-Wannabe. ((Note: Morrae likes to come up with really wierd nicknames for *EVERYONE*, so please don't think she's singling you out or bashing you, Dez.))

I'm Dez. I get that alot, haha!))
The Merovingian's mystery plan continues! He's got the General's men out in the human fields counting the babies, and Flood is supposed to pick up some information from Persephone, so he sent me The operator reminded me Persephone was a program that stimulated emotions before she went into Exile o.o There were two succubus Exiles with Persephone who were grossed out by human birth and pregnancy and all that stuff. Persephone went into detail about what she really used to do, which I think we are hearing about for the first time! Although some other people could maybe guess before She was in charge of stimulating reproductive glands of those in the pods, and she said when babies are conceived, the genetic samples are combined and grown into children in the fields! Well it is nice to know how that stuff works in the Matrix finally Flood was grossed out by hearing all of this but I'm supposed to go to the city hospital next and find out what the Matrix's version of the human birth rate is!
The operator said this place was just an ordinary hospital, and birth rate information should be publically available.. you think the Merv would have access to something like that already! But I guess then I wouldn't get to make these trips to see all the people Some of the bluepills were friendly and directed me to the right computer, some of them weren't so friendly I pulled up the information for the birth rate in 1999, which says 1.5%, up 0.001% from the previous year.. that doesn't sound like very much hmm.. There was another computer here that said it was an illness diagnoser, and it had a screen to pick your symptoms and it would diagnose your illness! One of the symptoms was "questioning reality" so of course I had to select that option! After that, it said to enter a citizen ID number for security purposes. Yeah right!!! I wonder how many people the Machines came after for doing that :/ Flood said the General's men have counted about a million babies. He also said they counted the humans in the pods closeby, and guessed about three million more of them. Okay! Next stop is to see the Coroner, and learn about death rates.
The Coroner said that city officials say the death rate is .7%, or about half of the birth rate, but he says births must equal deaths in the simulation or the Matrix could be unstable! So what does that mean?? O_O He also says he trust the birth numbers more than the death numbers. So deaths are being covered up somehow?? Before leaving i looked around the building which got some funny comments from the operator Like when I picked up some dead blowflies from a box, and a human heart from a safe.. eww! Why did I do that? And also a vial of red mange disease... :/ Well I had to pick them up to see what would happen! Flood didn't want to hear my report, so he sent me to Malphas.
The Merovingian was also here! And some guards too. Malphas did some math with the numbers I found and said the population based on them would be about 88 million, but that can't be right, because there are more than 3 million people in the city alone! So that means there are other pod towers like the Morpheus sim said They need more info! Malphas wonders if the Machines have an efficient way of recycling humans, but that would be hard to explain for their absences in the Matrix, he thinks the Machines would have a simple solution, but he isn't seeing it! I walked in on the Merv and General having a meeting, and the General says it's too dangerous for them to take a reading from the lines, the Machines are already closing in on them, and he suggests the Merovingian look to his own security before the Machines retaliate! The Merovingian said Morpheus, or the sim, said there were more pods, so there must be more than 3 million people. He also talked about Smith saying there were billions of people, and how funny it would be if even he were wrong! :o He also said not to worry about the Machines, they have other problems! Flood thinks the only useful thing they got from this exercise was the General's report on the Machines' activity, and that is a very sad thing
wow! there is a lot of good information in here for the Matrix bible!
Hah... this gives me some hope for the future. All this talk about human reproduction, I wonder if this would be a good time to put a personal plan of mine into action, if we could just get the technology...
