Well I did want to do a MXO Fan Fiction to join my other fics over at fanfiction.com, but I thought that running the story as a weekly blog I could pull in live events and more importantly the reaction to those live events.

That way you get the interactive dynamic, where other players are involved and mentions, and then my own narrative thrown in, maybe running as a sub plot.

You could say it's a creative writing experiment.
