The fact that you said 'tribes' made me stop reading that....
Personally, since Zion and NEw Zion are way below ground level, you'd need an assload of concrete or explosives to bury us. And besides, the Toasters wouldn't think of that.
While I did not find this meeting to be very useful, it was good we atleast discussed possible outcomes to our current....problem. And I got to talk alot.

We wouldn't need an 'assload' of explosives or concrete to bury you, you are already buried, all the Machines would need to do is fill in or destroy the tunnels leading into the cities. Besides, they'd probably have the firepower to tear apart the Earth, but they won't as it is their home. I think that the Machines (I doubt any of them cook bread products) probably have thought of that already, but that action would still leave an element of unknown ie. what would the buried Humans do whilst trapped?

But even if they hadn't of thought it, which I doubt they wouldn't have, thats what us Machinists are here for, to give them the benefit of Human responses and experience, so that we can show them that Man and Machine can cooperate and work together.

Interesting line of thought.

It might be easier if someone figured out finally that although difficult, working together with the Machines instead of destroying them would be a better solution.

It seems Captain Niobe is worrying of trust. I fear that a lack of trust at this time is the worst thing we should have. You have no fear Niobe, I am 150% behind Zion.

Yes because destroying your own race is so much better?....We never said we wish to destroy the Matrix just give a choice to everyone in The Matrix

How is working with the Machines, laying down your arms and cooperating with them, destroying Mankind? If anything it would contribute to the eventual prosperity of Man and Machine, but we would have to build cooperation and trust on both sides.

Every person is given a choice, otherwise the system would collapse like the first few versions. Yes it is subconcious, but by saying you want to give them the choice, are you stating that the subconcious is irrelevant?

How is making us more confortable, giving us an acutally feel of freedom, so we can actually breath again, a point to declare war? Apart from what's being explicitly said in the truce, this war is just stupid.

(( An interesting event, even though I was just standing outside the building for most of it  hehehe  And the screens were quite good... even if I'm not loving my shiny red plain dress shirt heh ... and I swear I'm not shooting SIMLO in that one picture, it just looks like it.

I also loved the Niobe comment in response to the person asking about her black clothes  lol ))

It's too bad this recap skipping past my meeting Niobe outside and offering to escort her to the hardline.  She declined and told me to watch my back, of course.  Perhaps she didn't hear me properly under several Zionites who were screaming non-sensically to get away from her and them.  In any case, I am glad to hear that Niobe is expessing doubt at the EPN's offers of.. assistance.

And what I said was true, Popper.  You may sometimes have the advantage of numbers, as you did at that moment, but any breath you take in the simulation could be your last.  Of course, it seems you're already aware of that seeing how you left your followers to be mowed down by Pace's security squad the other night.  As long as you get out safe and can return to your delusions, everything is perfectly fine...

How about the ability to attack and retreat to a fortified base with impunity? That is what this is about. If you needed more space why not tell the Machines? Why build a city with intense defences? Why entrench yourselves deeper? In preparing and expecting an attack, you've only gone and turned it into reality...

You prepare to defend yourselves for a war, So do the Machines. The only difference is The Machines consider the best defence is a strong offence.

People have a choice of whether they want to be a simulation, if only at a subconscious level, its where they feel comfortable. Only 1% choose not to accept the simulation. That isn't a figure plucked out of the air by the Machines, its a statistical fact. So in the terms of the Truce they had allowed those who rejected the simulation to awaken from it. It us understandable that Zion would not be able to hold all of the awakened and freeborn for long, it is only logical that the Machines would know this, and would probably have done nothing if a new city was built, as long as there wasn't a possibility of launching a strong military strike...

Zion and E Pluribus Neo continue to entertain the illusion of hope and unity...

Pathetic.
