All I ask is do not make a mission farming for whatever it is were going to trade iwth. You have several warehouses at your disposal in Ikeburo, please use them.
The boots look cool to me and I have always wanted Pheonix gang shirts for a long time too
And finally they set a crit in Ikebukuro so yay

Warehouses usually aren't going to be an option for buildings I can liberate from the mission system and change into public areas for free spawns or whatever, because there aren't very many warehouse areas for the mission system to use as it is.

I want the Chelsea Main Library opened up someday! Supposedly the home of the Archivist Society, per the old City Guide. They probably intended it for use at a later date but never got around to it. Or intended it to house a mission-instanced only area within, like Club Hel. Archivist Society ftw.

I wouldn't expect the home of the Archivist Society to actually be a part of the city, more like a gateway... food for thought.

White Hallway style door?
What level will be these clothes Rarebit?? I think, being in international, around 40 right??
Just a sidequestion: Are there any confirmations that there has been a industrial district with powerplant under work?
Datamine is probably what remains of it. Hey, are there any future story connections to DM planned? Could be interesting to get a little bite more of the backstory for it aswell.
Looking forward to the boots. Although they aren't really all that wowza. Guys need more foot wear as stated before in various threads. There does need to be more new lower lvl content to balance out all the new high lvl content. Not everyone is a 50 all the time. So this is a good addition - keep up the work in adding the lower lvl stuff along with the high lvl stuff.
Except for Feng's bowling shirt is fairly unique, the girl top is very common. I would rather have probly taken the red coat some of the other Pheonixes have. Problem is - some gangs sprot unique clothings and others sport everyday droppables. Walrus did say to me that the clothing on the gangs and NPCs is modeled to fit their body type, whatever type it is - 1,2, or 3. So in order to fit it to player avatars, it has to be worked to fit all 3 of those model types somehow. ( I asked Walrus about all this in the morning hours at Fan Faire about the second day over a cup of coffee while watching him play around on his test server at a kiosk. It was just some casual converstation and questions about design and whatnot.)
Here's what I always thought that Pheonix's would look good as. It's just something I always had in mind as thinking they needed. Moar flames! After all - they are Pheonix Gang, Pheonix = Bird of Flame.
If I can dare to hope then I'll hope there will be more than 3 missions in the 12.1 quest. Like... 5, maybe?
*looks imploringly at Rarebit*
Ooh, rad flames.
I do need to get better at painting new components on textures; the problem (for me) is that I don't have all the tools, source files and knowledge that a dedicated texture artist would--I don't usually have a visual guide showing exactly how the flat 2D texture wraps around the 3D model, etc.
The female upper body can be particularly tricky as it's probably the part of our character models that varies most from body type to body type, so in order to keep a design from looking too ballooned or deflated on one body type or another, you either have to work out a compromise texture after checking it and experimenting on all three, or you have to make three separate versions and instructions to have the game pick the right one for the right body type. An example of a compromise I've done is the bustline on the female winter shirt; the only triple version I've done that springs to mind is the female commando pants, which had to be done separately because the "bikini bottom" part of the geometry wrapped the texture differently on each of the three versions.
Since I usually can't justify spending a whole lot of time on texture work, generally if I do add a new element it's pretty simple and/or on a flat area. There've been a few other things I've tried in the past that I ended up just having to scrap because I couldn't work out how to wrap them well.
Oh, which reminds me, another aspect of that is that the polygons in the models are set in certain ways that I never really understand well until I actually modify a texture and run it in the game. I've had cases where I thought I was doing something very simple--a straight little mark, for instance--and it turned out that the texture/model was just set up so that it wouldn't do anything like a straight line at that spot, and no amount of futzing would make it look nice and straight: a straight blobbo, maybe, but not a nice crisp thing. So it's always something of an adventure.

Thanks for clearing some of that up, Rare. Hopefully in time you'll get a better handle on it.

Beg to differ! There are also some great neighborhood contact missions, of which Mr. Po stands out from a strong group!
Plus, having lived in Asia, it all brings back such strong, savory memories for me.
