Coming from SWG, Im used to a robust and very functional email
system. When I jacked in today I was a bit disappointed to learn
that we can only email one player at a time. As a rank 1 captain,
it would be immensely helpful if I could email the entire faction or
crews at one time. Also, being limited to one item per email is a
bit restrictive. I would like to send the faction uniform out to
my faction mates, but with this system, I have to send about 6
different emails for each uniform.

Can we email the LET characters? They used to have "data drops" to send them emails to, like [email protected] ^_^ Can we use the new mail system to communicate with them now?

a better solution to the emerald pravea sunglasses shortage would be to just have them lootable in vector, lol.

to be honest i was anticipating being able to email across servers just
so i could have my L50 recursion character farm red frag and code abils
and clothing for all my other characters, especially the vector ones
without fear of teh gank. but of course that's not very fair to players
on vector who spent all this time building up coder characters or
marketplace factions specifically to deal with hostile farming. so i
suppose it works out for the best :robotvery-happy:

Hello all,

Do we know how long mail is stored? Is there a limit to the number of messages and items that can be kept in the mail system? Does it get automatically deleted after awhile? I would like to use it for storage to free up my code archive and inventory.

I don't recall seeing an official word on using e-mail as storage space, but I'm sure they'd like to limit it (less stuff the servers have to keep track of), so I'm guessing that e-mails will eventually be deleted after they've been in the inbox for a while, but I could be totally wrong on that. Unfortunately, we can't send anything that's not tradeable to ourselves via the e-mail system, so most of the stuff I'd like to get out of my inventory has to stay in until we get item storage (that's gotta be coming soon, right devs? we can't keep getting item rewards unless you give us somewhere to store them).

Well there be a cap on the characters used in the Title, and can we have an option to not attach the replied message to the email we are replying to? Also as mentioned faction/crew emails and multi item attachments are a must.

However, its about time we finally got email. only took a year or so and 3 companies later SMILEY
