If you do, are you evil, good, neutral?

Highest level?

PC, or XBOX version?

IF you play the PC version, how do you like it, and do you use the G.E.C.K?

And what is the most awesome thing you have seen/done?

Post any other things you have seen or want to talk about the game. I've become too addicted to it.

Yes, in fact I just picked it up again afterplaying it for a few days after launch (I generally buy a game, play it for a bit then try to finish off other games that I have before seriously getting down to it. For instance because of the DLC I've been playing Fable 2 again [Knothole Island] and Burnout Paradise [KITT and Hovering DeLorean ftw].

I picked up Fallout 3 on the Xbox again a few days ago where I left off at Rivet city, did the replicated man quest, picked up the plasma rifle and wired reflexes or w/e it's called and then went to tranquility lane.

I'm still only lvl 9 and a protector (I've not been trying to take either good or evil route but it seems that I get a lot of karma anyway) but am enjoying melting people with the plasma rifle.

I have it, but I find it really hard to get into it. Everything's the same color, it's all so boring...

I play good, as a level 14 Ranger. Levelling is hard in this game!

think I'm in the same boat, however when I pick it up, I can't seem to put it down. The hard part is picking it up to start playing. While I would say Fallout 3 is a much better game, I still think I like oblivion a little more, and its probobly due to the pretty colors. Which is wierd, cuz I usually dont get into fantasy type stuff, and gritty postapoloclypitc stuff is right up my alley.

And I play PS3 version, good, and a sneaky rifleman/small guns guy

PC and 360

Both 20s and I use the geck frequently

So far in the Geck I have refurnished some shacks (and made one), and made two new drugs, Cyanide and Ecstasy(It has the Glowing One radiation burst effect and dramatically increases rad level.)

I have tried making a mission but the system is a tad difficult and it takes some getting used to.

Generally my characters are neutral or dead evil.

360:

BUnch but what I can think of now? Making the Rivet City mother lose her child by telling the child "Your mother drinks because of you" or something like that.

PC:

Ms. Montgomery one of my PC characters is an old southern white woman (Old Races mod), with a long doublebarrel shotgun and a rivalry with Wilhelms Wharf's Grandma Sparkle.

She then enslaved Grandma Sparkle and took up shop in there.

Other interesting conquests are Gary Gausman, an insane Police Officer of Springvale who is trying to "Collect Civilians" AKA Enslaving people and making them live in the Springvale Fallout Shelter.

Finished the game 3 times on PS3 (all trophies), ultra good, ultra evil and neutral.

Alas, there is no additional content on the PS3 version, so no DLC or GECK

Some great moments (spoilers abound) ...

Going at places I saw when I visited DC last summer
Finding a french canadian hockey team gang
Burning Harold (as a Fallout player since the first game, it was surreal for me)
Liberty Prime
Stripping Dave of his presidency
Dropping tons of empty Nuka Cola bottles in the collector's shack, just for fun and to flood the place
Finding the bunker that was emitting that their son was very sick and mentally building the story
Same for many Vaults with an original background story with holes to let the player fill them himself
And the feeling of killing something with Lincoln's Repeater never got old!

Played in on the PC and just finished the DLC for it.

I found it to be a good installment for the IP. I wanted fallout and got fallout.

And it seems the moding community is going strong atm.

  • Want more enemies they have it
  • Want 100 songs for GNR they have it
  • Want more Perks they have it, and more

Yeah, at the moment I just have the 360 version. Just downloaded OA.

I really want to get into making new things and creating even more havoc using the G.E.C.K. Really, I want to see if it is possible to spawn a lot of nukes together and set them all off at once.

I got tired of being good, so creating an evil alter ego was a good idea. I have to say, it really pays off sometimes (in the game).

(spoiler) Not sure if anyone else has found this, but I just found one of the areas where someones skeleton was on a bed with a scalpel in thier hand. Blood stains on the bed. Anyone else find something like this?

(Spoilers)

Yes, I also found a couple with bottles of buffout on their bedside, the couple were two skeletons in bed embracing.

Another lovely scene is when you enter an abandoned townhouse and there is a house robot, and if you click "Read bedtime poem" it goes to a bunkbed and starts reciting a poem to two childrens skeletons. And the poem is extremely morbid compared to the "reality" of the situation.

Wow! Now I have something else I need to find. I am really surprised at how in depth this game can get. I know that Fallout 4 is already a working idea, but really...Fallout 3 could go even further with updates and downloadable content.

Started thinking too...with the G.E.C.K could there be a possibility of making it a little "matrixy"
