I tried to go early this morning and pick up the game before class but appparently the minor snowstorm that hit the the Great Lakes region last night delayed majority of the trucks coming into Buffalo so I have to wait until tonight.

Great game and versus mode is so much fun. One time in versus my infected team killed all the survivors before they even got through the apartment.

Unless the tank is on fire, and then you die instantly after 30 or so seconds which is pretty !@$!ing idiotic.

It shouldn't be any less imo. Expert is pretty darn hard though. I've got No Mercy and Death Toll finished on expert. Got half-way through Dead Air but I was too tired. Only 9 or so more achievements to go.

Oh no I'm not doubting that it should be any less, just after finnishing No Mercy on expert it makes me scared of Blood Harvest's corn field...

Love this game, especially on expert.

Spend about 5 hours (over 2 days) on Death Toll. The part that held us back was after the Train safe room. Were you're goal is to get up to the next safe room with the crazy guy in it. Stupid bushes! Some guy joined me and 2 others, i let him out of the closet and said 'Welcome to the game, mate' next thing i know he kills us all SMILEY

But we finished it last night, and it was awesome, even if i did die before i got on the boat. Dead air is my fav at the moment.

Steam Friends name is DietSpam. Add me and I'll join you guys some time SMILEY

Ha ha, man you were asking for it. Even though I would have been pissed myself, my sadistic side would have lol'd pretty hard.

So my steamID is Carr, but since there's only a million Carr's, I'll just give you the link to it.

Yes, I know, self-ego booster in the title.

So if you ever want to go for a game, expert/versus or whatever, just send an invite.

The Campaign Mode is fine, but there's a few issues with Versus.

#1 - The Tank's health becomes bugged to the controller when they're lit on fire.

#2 - There's a very consistent "spawn bug" where you get stuck in spectator/spawning in ... mode for long than you're supposed to.

#3 - Servers all support 8-slots, therefore Admins of dedicated servers may choose that their server is for Expert-Campaign mode only, yet what they don't realize is the Match-making will que their server up for Versus on a whim. This means the expert-difficulty will reside in the Versus match, making it very difficulty for Survivors, thus un-fun.

#4 - I honestly think the Smoker needs a revamp. The idea behind the Smoker is fine, it's just I've hardly seen the Smoker successfully tear another survivor apart from the main group except in very specific occasions. That part of the "survivor pull" doesn't even cause damage until they are successful pulled to the Smoker or they are caught on an obstacle.

#5 - Binding kill to a key for a Boomer player no longer makes melee'ing/hoping players are stupid enough to shoot you a dangerous choice anymore. You can just self-explode on your own will with the key. That's not how the mechanic for the Boomer should work.

#6 - Servers that support all-talk should be banned from Versus-matchmaking.

The rest I can think of arn't really that important.

The demo was fun enough that I'll probably buy this for myself for Christmas. As a bit of an aside, are TF2/Portal etc. good enough to warrant the extra $40 for the full Package? I watched some TF2 gameplay videos and they look pretty good.
