I helped Neopill start this faction when I was just at lv 8. I am now almost 42, and in that amount of time, VR has grown from about 3 to 5 people, to now more than 30. It has grown as a family, as a community, and as a team. Our members push each other to strive to better themselves, harder than they could ever imagine possible. As Qabulin was sayng, we do take care of our members. I try to make every new recruit feel as welcome as they can as soon as I know they have ben recruited. And everyone of them has taken to becoming a part of the family. The other day, I had a conversation with one of my newest recruits. I had just recruited him the day before, and then I noticed he left the faction the next day. I want you all to read our conversation:
Malfore: Why'd you quit the faction?
Genji06: Because my cuz has a faction and I joined his, but.................
Malfore: Oh, I see, well you could have at least let me know you were leaving.
Geni06: I have a problem.
Malfore: What is it?
Genji06: See, I was going to tell you, I was just nervous and I left his crew, too, without telling him cause the crew were dicks and I didn't like them.
Malfore: You didn't have to be nervous. I would have understood, you just needed to come tell me. I am not mad. I was just wondering what happened.
Malfore: There's no need to be nervous, my friend. As long as you stay Zion, its cool.
Malfore: But I completely understand you wanting to join your cousin's faction, more power to you.
Genji06: Vengeance Rising must be pissed. I'm sincerely sorry.
Genji06: Its like you guys were big bros you know, my first group and you guys helped me out a lot.
Malfore: No, we're not mad at you. If you had left us to go to the enemy, i.e. merv or mech, then we might be mad. But if you're staying with Zion, then more power to you.
Malfor: That's what we're here for. I'm going to keep you on my buddy list so I can check up on you. And if you ever feel the need, there's always an open spot for you on my crew.
Genji06: Would it be wrong if I join again? :-]
Malfore: Of course not, everyone must find their place.
Malfore: If yours is with your cousin, good, if it is with us, just as good.
Genji06: I'll just need some time to get a little stronger if its alright, so far I'm 14. I want to get to 17 before I join.
Malfore: Whenever you're ready, there's a spot for you on my crew.
Genji06 Thanks man, I appreciate it. I never thought there was any cool people like you and the rest of VR.
Malfore: Well, thank you. Like I told you when we first met, we try to take care of our own in every way. Plus, a leader should be fair to his junior members.
Genji06: Thanks for understanding.
I have stills of the entire conversation. If anyone would like them, send a pm to my profile on our forum site. You should be able to get my email address from there, so you can request them from there, as well. The reason I did not put them up here was because it was too much of a hassle for me to do so. But I will be more than happy to share them with anyone who wants to see them. This faction has become more than just a bunch of people to hang out with or mish with. Its become one of the closest knit families I have ever seen in an MMO. I am proud of what it has become. Neo and I have worked hard to build this faction up to what it is today. When we started it, Neo and I were the only two captains. We just commissioned our newest captain today, giving us a total of 5 captains, each with their crews. That may not seem like much to some people, but to us, its a lot. I knwo that Neo and I have tried to treat all of our members like family, and I am glad that they have taken to the treatment and even given the same treatment out to the newer members as they come on. As I said before, I have been with this faction since the very beginning, and I have watched it grow and grow. I have so much pride in VR now, and I am very proud of each and every one of our members. Each time they jack in, everyone greets them as if they have not seen them for years. I love being in this faction, and I hope that everyone who reads this post, will want to share in the wealth of brotherhood that VR exemplifies.
