I can't think of one game that's worse off than MxO right now, Denary. Most people have there reasons for staying outside of the gaming aspect, most notably the community.

Incorrect on both counts.
No really, I'm really pissed off atm, so I'm just gonna write this "For Teh SkITTleS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And yea I remember that bio about ol mervy, but I've since then realized that he is important, he herds all the exiles together with worthless missions so we mechs can go in and kill alot more then if they were scattered.
But on topic, I'm still waiting, what's it gonna be SOE?! The kitty or more live events?! It's your choice!
I have to ask... What's the deal with the line in your sig?
The line in my sig huh? I'll tell ya.
About two years ago I was sitting in a dark room, meditating, lost in deep thought. I was thinking of something, something so random, yet so easily explained that people just as you have done, would ask me, why?
"Teh Day before Yesterday is today." is what I came up with, just reading it you jump to the conclusion that it's not logical to say such things, the day before yesterday is is two days ago, not today. But if you throw logic out the window and think about how such a thing could be possible, I point you to the point in time that the matrix is set in, 1999. It's 1999 every year in the matrix, however, a day in the matrix will never feel to the blue pills like yesterday, the machines though of this, so they back track two days in advance in order to keep a cycle going. The only way teh day before yesterday is today could be possible is if you think of two days ago right now in the present, this will not make it a true fact but the thoughts are always there, if that made any sense at all gimmie a hallaluya! lmao

But I have seen a better segway.
Not really a better segway, but definitely a better way to use segways.

THEN WHY ARE WE STILL HERE? Oh wait ... non-canon story-line ... the current one that is.

Personally, I prefer to burn some rubber.
Granted it's only Thursday, but after hearing this rant from a number of individuals, including my own faction members, for the entirety of this week, I can now honestly say that I'm tired of hearing it. So let me make something clear: SOE does not own the rights to MxO, therefore it isn't up to SOE to put the game on Steam. It's up to Warner Bros.
It isn't up to SOE to advertise this game, as it's not theirs, and they can get in trouble for it, without the permission of the propertyright owners. SOE's job is to keep the game running, attempt to provide new content, and try to make money off of the game. Regardless of how they're doing with the latter, the fact remains that if MxO did belong solely to SOE, it would have been put on Steam. If you'll look, you'll notice that SWG isn't on there either, as it belongs to Lucasarts.
I fully understand the community having concerns with this, but starting an umpteen-page forum rant, where every Bobby, Tommy and Marco gets to put their two cents in, and add their two cents to everyone else's two cents, very rarely generates the results you desire.
*points at Warner Bros.*
Instead, direct your concerns to them. They can actually do something about it.

My question would be what efforts is SOE making to get permission from WB. If SOE's role with this game is to try and make money with MXO, how does advertising not fit in to picture? I've always been curious about this.

A better question would be how such efforts from SOE are handled and/or replied to by WB.
