That was all great news Walrus. Even though people who haven't played on the EP server might have to quicken up on getting use to the new combat it seems like a good move. Hoepfully everyone knows someone at QA to help them teach them the ropes. This pushing back the date gave me a boost in spirit for the MxO team so send all my good regards their way. Hopefully more testers will lend a big hand on QA before the time is up. Go, MxO Team, GO! (You know, just like Speed Racer, "Go, Spped Racer, Go!" right? Whatever! :smileymad

Beta Clothes Response There was a lot of feedback to our announcement that the beta clothes would be made tradable with Update 42. First, let me explain the reasoning for the original decision. When we first released the beta clothes, they were scheduled to stop appearing in player inventories when new characters were created in May 2005. At that time, the clothing was also supposed to become tradable. However, the first part of that plan was never implemented. We also wanted to make them tradable so players who had beta clothing could email them to alternate accounts for storage. Given the current crush of inventory space, this seemed like a desirable feature. As was pointed out, making beta clothes tradable while they still appear in new character inventories would create a flood of these unique items in the market. The feedback we got was that these are considered genuine markers of our truly old-school players and that making them tradable wasn’t something the community wanted. Therefore, we will not be making beta clothes tradable in Update 42.
How about... storage in the Loading Area?

Walrus, we can't even get to the questionnaire part of the Fan Faire registration. After logging in with my Station account, it asks me which kind of pass I want to purchase (i.e. Classic Pass, Gold Pass, etc.). When I select what kind of pass I want to purchase, I get this message:
We are sorry, but registration for the Fan Faire has been limited to Station Members with valid player accounts only.
Please click your browser back button to sign in with a valid log in name and password.
My Station account only has a subscription to MxO. Is there any other way those of us with MxO accounts can sign up, or do I have to go buy a copy of EQ or SWG?
Unfortunately, I thought this had been resolved. However, I apparently misinterpereted the information.
FanFaire is featuring EQ, EQII, EQOA, and PlanetSide, so there won't be much MxO-ness (or SWG-ness, actually) there outside of the community team. I'll ask again what MxO players should do, as I'd love the opportunity to meet y'all. (Karaoke or no.)

Thank you for the clarification. Like I said before, I'd only go to meet you guys (not so much for the Karaoke part :p). If that means I have to sign up for an EQ account or something, then so be it. I can't pass up an opportunity that's in my own backyard.

My thoughts exactly, this is going to ruin the event for alot of people :smileysad:

As optimistically skeptic (ha!) as I am about the release date shuffle and it not affecting the Event dates, I would have to say that CR2.0, in it's current polished state, is not TOO hard to get used to, it keep the basics of the old system, ,just changes the niggly advanced bits.
I'd say it could be learned (obviously not in great depth) in the 1 or two day period before the event. Then you have Saturday free-ish before the finale on Sunday.
