Okay guys! Instead of meeting at Mara West, let's all get recalled into Polyvinyl and buff up there instead! I'll bring UGM and recall!

Hmm oh, well I could pop it in a different club if Mara is problematic.

for Vector it is since Mara is the kind of the main PvP area on the server... how about Sphinx?

One humble request adressed to Rarebit:  Pick the best looking clubs for Pacification Zones, if you please.

On Vector, I think they will be as Borat says: "a great success."

Edit: I guess although it's not as flashy as some other clubs, Club Messiah might be a good one to pacify because of the imagery associated to that particular club's name.

Oh Sweet Merciful Crap!  That's awesome.  Finally, people will stop causing random fights during LE meetings, etc.

The only thing is, now the entire Polyvinyl club on Vector will have that annoying blue haze around it for eternity.  I'm not personally on that server, so I really don't care.  However, I know I would hate it.  You don't think you could dissable the graphic for the permanant ones and just leave the system message?  Just for the permanant ones.  Temps need some sort of graphic to be aware.

mara, def not a good idea. but the idea of pacifaction zones is cool. although i can imagine..six months down the road. some pacifaction zone will be the new mara. and reds will be always waiting outside to ambush people coming out or goin in. the door wil always be crowded with people on each side antagonizing eachother like when barriers get put up for events, lol.

funny. i cant wait.

Hey, cool, maybe people will actually hang out in the clubs instead of around telephone booths out on the street SMILEY

And yeah, even though I don't play on Vector, I know that Polyvinyl wouldn't be good. On top of being too close to Mara C, it's also kind of a weak-sauce club. Better to do something spiffy like Duality or Avalon. Then again, those two are unique in Richland, so maybe you should do Sphinx or Sanguine since they're the basic run-of-the-mill clubs... though maybe not Sanguine since that means "bloody." That should be open for PvP SMILEY

Better go with Sphinx, I'd say.

Rarebit and Walrus,

I hope you have thought of the combination of the luggables and the pacification zone. You wouldn't want anyone carrying a luggable to enter and stay in a pacification area, especially if that luggable gives beneficial affects to the org carrying it.

So hopefully luggables will be dropped upon entering a non pvp zone.

This is wrong.

That system may be useful in some cases, but permanent installation is wrong.

Suggesting that we are incapable of peaceful multi-org gatherings is insulting, accepting that assessment as truth is far worse.

Despite popular belief, Vectorites are capable of restraint. we do not need permanent nullification fields in our world.

/disagree (x2)

I really like this direction, but because of the server it must be thought out correctly...which I think you're doing.

I love the temp. area so that it will disable the people that like to disrupt events. There are many events in the past that have been ruined because of pvp and idiots. This, I hope, will make Rarebit happier while doing events on Vector, which in turn, will make Vector a better place.

If.....IF....you decide to do permanant ones please keep them in out of the way areas and away from org districts like appolyon, camon, midian, mara, moriah etc...

That way it won't disrupt pvp as much.

Anyways, it's something Vector players have been asking for in one way or another even since Monolith. Thanks.
