Syntax Factions: And Now?

I was hunting through the forum for a faction and found that, due to certain recent events, most of the data is out of date. While I myself am looking for a Machine (or maybe even Cypherite) faction there are plenty of others who likely look with confusion on some of these ancient OPs.

An update is in order. Especially with the big shake up in politics of late.

Other than that state what you feel is important, your goals, your views, opinion on the current situation, what makes your faction distinct from the others and lastly how your faction feels and acts towards the other organizations.
