I think this image would be a good idea.  That way we can keep the space on our tool bar and also at the same time open up space for the cenimatics.

That would not fit for people at 800x600 resolution, they'd have to make the icons smaller, which, in turn, would make the icons of people that play at 1600x1200 too small.

I say use the space just to the right of the compass... it's never used so it won't interfere with much.

As long as those tactics still map on the keyboard like the hyperjump command... we don't need to waste hotbar space with them at all.

Those buttons are for free fire melee too, you cant Speed attack with the run forward button.

I think this pic should be considered for the revamped Combat UI since crowding the hotbar with standard attacks is not effecient... at all  And I think it could fit inside screens ser at 800x600 resolution which is generally the smallest resolution people use nowadays.

 

And people should really read the first post as it underlines all the rules in getting your questions answered.


1) Only the first question after the last dev/admin reply will be considered.

2) If the post contains two questions, only the first question will be answered.


And as an idea for people to ask about in the future:

Is the Spy tree being revamped with CR2.0 as well, or just the Soldier branch?

and to answer bonopi's question myself... READ THE DEV JOURNALS!



Yes the spy tree is getting revamped... the details released thusfar
are that there will be changes made to the way people can "pop" a
stealth ability.  Instead of pitting it against a roll like normal
tactics, the longer you stay withing a person's "detection range" the
easier it will be for them to detect you (makes sense right?).  I
know there are other things about it but i can't remember them.

I dont have a pic of 800x600 but i know that there isnt even 1 space available that that'd fit in.  I'm sure someone has a pic though.

well one thing I was wanting more clarification on (since what you mentioned is just about all we know so far) is that most every ability in the spy tree will be redone...and could be more elaborated on.

What is their function in combat now...

Ok! I want to ask some questions, of course I wont get first reply but I hope a dev will be nice enough to answer anyways...(Sorry dont live on the forums waiting to poke a dev..xP)

 

(1st one is a joke) Why hasn't oblivion-knight  been banned yet?!(Now that I got that out of my system)

 

I'd simply like to know what, if anything, do you Dev's think about the Player Live Events Character thingy I suggested and is there any posability we will ever see interaction with LET characters like we used to? I really miss my conversations with Agent Gray.


A bunch of my faction-mates(Mega City Department of Energy) Think the PLEC was a good idea, hell alot of them said they would sign up for it if it was ever implemented because they want to help bring interaction back up..playing non-movie characters and such.

 

Well theres my 2 cents, I'll watch the topic and see if I get a reply from you spunky dev's.
