Original Post read:

As stated in this thread, leaderboards are in demand. I feel that it is something that is within our power as players and community members to create and maintain. So, here I am, with my first attempt at a leaderboard. And I choose what I see to be the easiest aspect to measure; CQ Points.

Discussion:

I figure each server having it's own column of top 20 CQ holders will suffice and revamps and revisions can be done after we get into the swing of things.

I motion that this first post in this thread be refreshed *monthly on Sunday.

In the event that I am unable to maintain this leaderboard, the most current list can be copied, updated and pasted into a new thread and maintained by whoever wants to take over. It's not rocket science.

Feel free to nominate this thread to be stickied and inmplemented into Community News.

Any other input? Feel free to share.

Rules:

Post an undoctored (obviously) screenshot of your details and the server that character is on. Details can be posted on someone's behalf. Please crop your screenshot.

*I will update on Sunday, once a month. I may edit throughout the particular Sunday as necessary.

*Please notify me of any spelling errors.

This leaderboard will only be accurate if YOU participate. Let's get the ball rolling!

* Denotes a new addition to the post.

This is a great idea, and I hope MANY participate in it.  If we do have a lot of participation, I will be happy to also post the leader board on MxOSpace for you. SMILEY

Alternatively, we could kick the Sony Web Team into action as they have all the information required to make this from Rarebit.

If you still want to do it yourself, I think it would be a million times easier to ask Rarebit to give you a new one of these every time you wanted to update:

And I do respect the dedication you have for the game when your willing to do this, but for £10 a month, I actually think SOE should be doing all this stuff, especially when things like this basics to free MMOs SMILEY

I'd like a top 20 or at least a highest earner per month/year.

Thanks for the info. I'll contact him in regards to his input.

I was thinking about only updating the first post in the thread, but if every week a new post in the thread is created then one's acquisition of CQ points can be kept track of over time.

Well, it would be cool.  I think it might encourage people to abuse the system even more though.  There are still quite a few bugs with cq, afaik.

What would be really cool is if there was a log of how many times you have died by another player's hands.  A kill/death ratio would be a much better assessment of pvp skill.  This current leaderboard of total cq points puts too much weight on time spent pvp'ing and/or loitering on a pvp team.
