Is it possible to get a letter item that like event frags etc. have text and information on them. It would provide the opportunity to have a card or letter that can supply RP event details as well as notes or "research" in an event. It could have a GUI like the Background changer and can save a message to a single item (each once would have to be variable not sure hw that would work from a coding point of view). Just an idea that i'm sure has been brought up somewhere but i think it should be included it makes for great RP (and personal) uses.

I'd like to see an RP luggable, period. Not even needing something that can be changed, just something that isn't a box or satellite dish.

But it should still flag you, just not show any outward effects.

The best that I've been able to come up with is using the disk or letter props from the prop vendors.  You can't customize the props, but you can attach them to an in-game email, and put the contents of the letter in the body of the email message.

Alternatively, if you want to get fancy-schmancy, you can include in the email a link to an external webpage that has an image of the letter or other content located on the web.  This used to be really easy when MxO Resource had its file hosting area.

It's not ideal, but there are definitely ways to work around it.

Sure, but there's nothing really to fight over. An RP luggable would open up a world of player event possibilities, like carrying important information or money or something of value to your opponents that can be taken from you if you die.

There are three PvP lugs, but no RP lugs.

And thats exactly what this is to combat... having crappy work arounds.  whats the use of an empty letter or disk? (:

not sure about lug though, it would be good for that sort of drop ability, but then again i'd like for you to be able to drop anything. :/

No one is talking about fighting over these things.  I'm assuming for data transfer only.  It's silly to hand someone a disc and them email them the info that is on the disc.

I'd like to see the ability to give someone a disc, then them right click it and chose read - or obviously 'write'.
