I've read that on wiki and I would like to know more about this comic, it's not on the official website :

The fate of Trinity's remains has never been verified to date, although Morpheus later uses simulations of Neo and Trinity in a training program for The Kid as shown in the graphic novel story "I Kant" in "The Matrix Comics", Volume 2 (Burlyman Entertainment).

Its a short story about Morpheus training "kid" and getting him ready for the matrix. It starts with him in a trainign simulation being chased by Smiths. He comes to the edge of a building but is to scared to hyper jump gets tackled and starts a nose dive off the bulding. The simulation freezes and Morpheus explains to him that he needs to face his fears and free his mind. That while he may be scared there are still millions of poeple in the matrix that felt the same way as he did. The simulation continues after Morpheus asks for a replica of Neo, Trinity,a dn Seraph to be added. The fourm of them start to fight the smiths and Neo hands "Kid" a skate board. "Kid" finally realized that he can't be scared all the time starts to fight and they defeat the swarm of smiths. The twins then appear in a escalade and chase them. They wind up on the roof of a building and "Kid" is forced yet again to try and make the jump. He does and the comic ends with Kid saying "Neo is still out there showing him the way" Morpheus replies if he belives then yes and "kid announces he is ready to start operating in the Matrix.

Good comic although im not sure how cannon it is. Most of the Matrix comics as well as the 5 short filmes in the Animatrix not directed by the W bros are up for debate as to wehter they are apart of the offical story or not. Personly if Paul Chadwick or the W bros didnt write it then I dont concider it cannon. Exaple being the short comic intitled "saviors" in the same book which ends with the truce colapsing. So who knows.

Oh and I dont get where theygot that it says the machines verified Trinties body and that they were behind the RSIs. The whole things a trianing program by Morpheus.

Canon is beset upon accuracy of the characters to themselves and/or the metaphor they manifest.  Now, an artist may take it upon himself to tell a different, updated version of the established canon, you'll usually find it then subtitled.  Batman: The Dark Knight...Batman: Year One.  So if it's not subtitled...how do you tell them apart?  Simply, the entertainment world thrives on metaphor.  If you understand who or what the "KID" is/represents in the movies, then if he reappears in another form of media, he should "act" the same way.  If he doesn't, then it can be viewed as an artist's rendition of who the KID is.  However, these particular character is almost (as nothing is absolute) dummy proof, you know who the KID is and why he's there and how his character is supposed to act (at least from an adult pov).

And, just in case you have to ask, he's a Kid.

I consider both volumes of the Matrix comics cannon, as they can be viewed and bought from the official site.

well you can also view and buy Path of Neo on the offical site but last I checked Neo didnt fight a giant Smith made up of metal and other smiths did he?

Alternate universe maybe as thats what all those difrent story lines for other comics (batman, X-men etc) are. While there is always one offical "real" story there are many side additions and the comics i think go into these catigories. As I mentiond the one entitled "saviors" is a perfect example of this. The truce at the end of it has fallen and the war is about to start up again. The story we are in hasnt even come close to this happening so in the universe we are in "saviors" never happend.

Maybe cannon wasnt the right word. Story line might have been a better one.

Also I would love to post pictures of the comic but im sure that breaks some kinda copy right law.

I disagree- i think Saviours fits perfectly well with the MxO, and is about stopping the war starting again rather than it beginning. I don't think that MxO takes place immediately after Revolutions and there must have been a time when bullets still killed people and relationships were fragile between organizations. Hitch fights to stop the war restarting and gets himself reinserted, which fits in well with the start of the Cypherite movement. I agree that not all the comics are canon, especially the joke ones! And I Kant doesn't conflict with any story issues so I don't see why it shouldn't be considered canon. Also for the others, there were 100 years of war with the Machines in Neo's Matrix, plenty of time to fit in all those smaller adventures.

I read I Kant and it seems to fit in nicely. Basically, if there's nothing that can contend with it, then it's canonicity is safe. The ending of PON is by the Wachowski's own admission and conceit and absolutely NOT canon. Everything else seems to be ok

Does anybody know where I can find a copy of this on teh tinternets? I really don't want to pay $30 (with s&h) for one 10 or 12-page comic.

It's not available online, I Kant and Saviours were added to the book exclusively as an incentive to make people buy it. They've also souped up some other things like coloured in some b + w comics and added illustrations to a prose piece etc.

There's a magical thing called the library.

You should try it sometimes. There are books there.

(In all seriousness, I believe I found volume 2 in my local library - it had I Kant, the one about the psychologist and the kid, one about some freaky beach, a load of others, and a really weird one about some computer programmer-turned-mountain climber - good stuff)
