No, no, no, *not* trying to find a way to clear out the after-effects of Operation Darkstorm, though that's on Sieges's to-do list...
Does anyone here have the useropts tweak to lighten some of the darkness during the Hallowe'en shenanigans? I need them for a couple of faction mates.
Thanks in advance!

Send a PM to Bayamos or look into his Useropts thread. You can lower the effect by increasing the player light settings (again I'll refer to Bayamos's Useropts thread for that information).

http://www.mxoarchive.net/useropts.html Search function. It's for the win. *Edit: and you can search for MxOConfig, download that. It's easier to change some settings with it, such as the light pool.

PlayerFX_LightPool_Proj_Angle = 1.8 PlayerFX_LightPool_Radius = 5 PlayerFX_LightPool_Bright_Scale = 1 These are the settings I use, you may want a good deal more than that. Just increase the radius value until you are happy.

I used the search, but I kept coming up with every other useropt trick *but* the dark sky workaround. -.-

thanks Baya BUT....that path does not exist on my PC, I guess since I installed Launchpad and then MxO (instead of what installing MxO first) the directories are are different. I just have sony/matrixonline/.etc.....
I have placed a useropt file in every sony directory and sub directory (as well as the station launcher directories and subs) still no luck...arrgghhhhh...T

Put your useropts in after /matrixonline as highlighted.

Is there a file named options.cfg in your /the matrix online/ folder?
