I know, I know; you guys all think that being able to clone myself at will is the coolest thing in the whole world. But it's not easy being in more than one place at a time, even for me! One of me got a little confused in all the excitement of the assault on the Bathary hardline during Niobe's rescue operation, for instance, and didn't quite get the message to come home to the mothership after we'd saved the day.

Fortunately, I had my buddy Frank, and a lot of other people, come help me track him down. It was nice to be together again, although ironically, I suddenly found myself invited to two separate parties. What a pickle! But I figured I should probably go easy on the cloning thing for a day or so, just to make sure everything was settling in right, so I just had to make sure that in the time I was at each party, I left an impression that would last for a while.

Not everyone could pull something like that off in one night and live to tell about it, but man, I was inspired; maybe it was the lightning playing around my head, or Polyxo's purple boots, or Jac's ability to sulk while in a room full of dancing girls; but whatever it was, I was in fine, unified form, if I do say so myself. It's good to have me back.

"The guy in the fedora whispering to me..."

I may want to strangle the Effectuator for hitting on my wife, but, hey, he can pull a nice joke or two, I'll give 'im that.

This event was great.  Got to hang out with the Effectuator, plus there were some surprise guests. ^_~  The only con was that only Merovingian operatives were allowed into Club Hel later that night.  I understand why, but I couldn't continue partying with the Effectuator or get more dialogue from him.

Thanks Walrus and NoRepro.  And a special thanks to Rarebit, or as Walrus called him, "the one man LET".  Really, they should hire at least one person to fill the void left by HCFrog.

(Heh, it's nice to get a fun little event like that from time to time. I got a chance to say "You're the man now, dog!" to the Effectuator, haha. I am content.)
