I loved this guy, from Fantasy Island (which I grew up watching as a noob), to his commercials that would come on when I was watching The A-Team and V- the series, talking about fine Corinthian leather and whatnot.
I turned away from my screen when I saw this news.

well finished watching ST:II, Bill & Lenard stole the show as usuall, but Mr. Mantalban was pure gold...

He was a great actor in the classic fashion, and Wrath of Khan is my #2 favorite ST movie (After First Contact). And I'm about to put ST:II in, I just got home.
Who else can claim to make Kirk rage so much? Klingons came close, but alas, no cigar.
Words cannot express the loss I feel over the death of this man. He was the epitome of old school Latino charm and flair. This man knew what it was to be suave and debonaire way before Julio Iglesias came around with his spray on tan. R.I.P. Ricardo, you will be missed!
