OK, I have made sigs before and obviously, have some experience with them. I've just made this little siggy, but I'm having a problem

for some reason, the bottom of my sig is cut off in my signature, and I have no idea why - here is the orginal: http://www.themadgamer.co.uk/images/NonTMG/The_BMxO.jpg

Now after what I said I don't, unfortunately, have a vast knowledge of HTML so I'm sure my problem lies there - unless I'm missing something? Can anyone help me out?

I believe there is a 150 pixel height limit.. so it is automatically being cut off

Properties on the original image shows that it is 500x150, so I really see no reason why this is an issue.

Some sigs once the board first came up were having this issue, and I'm
not sure why yours is one of them.  My suggestion wuold be to try
setting the height to like 140, just shy of the 150 cap, and see if
that changes everything (make sure your program proportionalizes the
width as well, so that it doesn't look all fubar SMILEY)

Yes the 150 pixel limit includes text written before the image. So, the
only way to include the whole sig is to either cut the sig down, or
take out the text.

Aha - thanks Cubert, you were right - well, Ive incorporated the text into my siggy now anyways - and hopefullly it should also be a link too if I do this right...

EDIT: Yes I did do it right, in fact I'm learning HTML faster than I thought :smileywink: -It's a good thing I leave the coding on my site to others really isn't it? :smileytongue: (Saying that - see a mistake and it's probably me...)

You're welcome, The_B. It looks like its still being cut-off a little because of the border from the link. Try this:

<a href="http://www.themadgamer.co.uk/"><img src="http://www.themadgamer.co.uk/images/NonTMG/The_BMxO.jpg" border=0></a>

Adding the border=0 tag inside the img tag should fix that.

EDIT: I guess the forum automatically adds all those spaces so that HTML doesnt ruin the forum pages. Just ignore it. :smileyhappy:

I like it... but instead of finding a different angle to crop it as, just make it smaller. I had to sacrifice some size for it to fit in the right dimensions, but im cool with it.
