The guards we had chosen to watch over the assembled Twin legs were not prepared for their...friskiness. Having left the two of them doubled over in severe pain after the application of several remarkably accurate kicks, the legs rushed out of their safehouse, and, despite blundering into walls here and there, ran south through the Slums. Although, according to operative reports, they moved erratically, they appear to have moved with purpose, as their course took them through several neighborhoods in short order, before they appeared to become disoriented in the Kedemoth/Mannsdale area. One wonders if they were somehow looking for something; perhaps they can sense the presence of their missing parts, much as human twins have sometimes been supposed to have a "psychic" connection to each other? Perhaps the head, wherever it is, is somehow directing the movements of its distant limbs?
Unlimit detected the presence of the Twin legs as they ambled aimlessly in Kedemoth, and I doubt very much that this connection had anything to do with a psychic bond. Operatives who had followed the legs, even assisted them in their course by describing barriers which the legs themselves could not see (how the legs can hear and interpret is another question), defended the legs from the Unlimit attackers, and the legs themselves put a number of Unlimit shins to the test.
Indeed, they did the same to my shins when I finally caught up to them. It will be something of a relief once we have the Twin's head restored and in full control of its very lively extremities.
The Dr Seuss comment made me laugh
Hehe, this was the funniest event thus far! The legs were kicking and kicking those Unlimits, and then they
even kicked Malphas it was making me think Monty Python, "Come back here I can still bite your legs off" LOL!!
Real good fun!
