You’ve made a bold decision to take the red pill and learn the truth.  The veil has been lifted from your eyes.  Now you have the freedom to serve and fight for the future of the Matrix and those inside it.  If you decide that serving Zion is for you, I encourage you to join me and my faction mates in De Novo.

 

What is De Novo?

 

• De Novo is Latin, meaning “anew”.  This faction was born from the defection of ArchDuke and the entire former faction of The GoodFellas after a takeover from a former leader. 

• De Novo is a casual Zion faction.  We do actively encourage RP and PVP and we will provide help where we can in each and every area.  From helping run missions, to Hardline run-throughs, we are here to help.

• De Novo’s leader is myself, ArchDuke.  I have played MxO since launch and have been actively involved the entire way.

• De Novo is composed of players from both the US and UK, all of which are very friendly and helpful.  We currently hold 6 lvl 50 players in De Novo.

 

What do you get by joining De Novo?

• For newer players, a faction gift of $info is given to aid in purchasing anything they may need.

• A faction uniform is coded and provided free of charge, both for males and females.  You are only required to wear your uniform at faction meetings or official gatherings.  You are free to dress as you please otherwise.

• Access to our coders’ archives of clothing.  If you have a request for a particular piece of clothing, we will search our archives for one.  If one can’t be found we will search around for a copy.  We also frequently contribute to the clothing projects of ZaneZavin.

 

What is De Novo’s philosophy?

De Novo is a Zion faction, so our long-term goal is freedom for the humans in the pods that desire it.  A subconscious acceptance of the Matrix’s falsified reality does not mean consent to it.  That being said, we also wish and work towards a peaceful solution between all beings, be them Human, Machine, or Exile.  There are many avenues to peace that we have not tried. 

 

 

What rules do you have to follow to be in De Novo?

1. Treat your faction mates and other players with common courtesy and respect.  In the end, we are all paying our $15/month to enjoy a video game.  No uncharacteristic harassment or insulting will be tolerated.

2. If you are fortunate enough to attend a Live Event, LESIG Event, or Player Event, act maturely.  Such events have common RP codes of conduct and you should follow them accordingly.  If you don’t know how to act at an RP, ask. 

3. Our faction is a family and a close-knit one.  As such, issues may arise between faction mates.  These issues should be treated and solved in a mature fashion.
