Knives Thrower just sounds like a sweet class to play as in the game and before I jack in I just wanted to know the strengths\weaknesses of the class and how people enjoy it. Any tips would also be appreciated! Just rejoined the game on Recursion btw (Decryn).

Nothing is really supposed to have strengths and weaknesses because of the balancing of the classes in CR2. Knife thrower is I think most effective in ranged combat so you can continously use the knife throwing abilities to weaken and eventually kill your opponent at a distance but you can use them in interlock. The problem I found with that loadout is you can only throw knives so if they start missing you don't have any other moves to use on your opponent.

Strengths: High damage attacks, Almost guaranteed to get out of Interlock, Sneak/Invisibility

Weaknesses: Uses lots of Inner Strength

Yeh best method of using that is to use Master Assasin, load throat cutting throw, and also load disguises, and leg sweep. you should also have deadly throw in as well, so quite simply just use the shield disruptor or whatever it's called and punt, activate find weakness, and then leg sweep, deadly throw, throat cutting throw and keep hitting them

Um...everything has strengths and weaknesses because of the balancing of the classes in CR2.0. Certain trees have certain strengths (Ie. A Howitzers strength is that he can hit multiple targets with high powered attacks. Weakness - uses a lot of IS and is dead in combat) and weaknesses.

I phrased that wrong. What I meant was that no class was supposed to have an unfair advantage over another. For example an operative and a hacker have their own strengths and weaknesses but it should be a balanced fight if they are at the same level.

well not completely balance but close enough its not quite safe to say so broadly hacker and operative becaue if a hacker can root or stun or what ever say an MA or spy ( non knifer) then the hackers got a great chance of wining becuase the operative cant get close to use his attacks...

Basically, an MKT's theoretical strength, is high powered attacks whilst staying at a distance. Also has sneak for the element of surprise. Hopefully able to kill quick and get away.

Weakness. Hard to survive against multiple enemies. High IS costs. Weak at low levels. Very, Very weak.

Someone said about combining with Assassin and punting. I havent been MKT since start of CR2 now but Suplex is still the best assassin move to go with right? plus when it causes off balance i dont remember reading that they changed the double hit damage when your opponant is off balanced and hit with a knife.
