SAN DIEGO, CA – February 14, 2006 – Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a global leader in the online games industry, today announced the Station Access™ Collection, a bundled anthology that includes the top online PC games published or developed by SOE to date. The Station Access Collection is scheduled to be available at retail on March 14 and will carry a suggested retail price of $39.99.
“Online gaming has become a huge part of PC gamers’ lives over the last few years and we felt that now would be the perfect time to introduce new players to our diverse line-up of online games,” said Mike Lustenberger, vice president, marketing, Sony Online Entertainment. “This collection includes everything from first-person action to high fantasy role-playing to piloting X-Wings in deep space combat. The Station Access Collection is a great deal for players, collecting five very different online worlds together for the price of a single game.”
The Station Access Collection brings together all of SOE ’s hit online PC titles in one collection. Included in the package are EverQuest® Evolution™, EverQuest® II, The Matrix Online™ and PlanetSide® Aftershock, as well as Star Wars Galaxies ®, developed in conjunction with LucasArts. The collection will include 30-day trials for new players of each of the five games, allowing them to play with hundreds of thousands of other people around the globe. The Station Access Collection will only be available on DVD -ROM.
What makes me laugh.. without fail... is that Bestbuy owns future shop... yet Bestbuy has stores here in Coquitlam and a number of other cities in the lower mainland.
