The lvl 255 Agents were created in direct response to our growing power?

I'm really clinging onto the idea that we as a whole, of awakened redpills, were all various degrees of fractions less powerful than NEO had become, which is the reason why Morpheus could hold his own for a while with an upgraded Agent that was assumed to be stronger then the previous incarnation but not as wily & devious as the exile Smith & we have lvl 255 Agents in the matrix right now that can easily overpower our strongest human warriors. The newest incarnation of Agents, these super Agents, were a direct response to our growing collective power.

I posted that over here... http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=11100046243

It's a very thought provoking thread about what would happen to specifically Machine operatives & then to a lesser extent the rest of humanity, if they truce was to be broken. So I posted there my opinions on what I think would happen to us, until I realised that as usual, I went a bit off topic, so maybe this idea deserves it own thread?

I believe that our greatest lvl 25 & up warriors are stronger than Morpheus, Trinity & Cypher combined when they were alive. NEO showed us the impossible/improbable, it was a mental leap of faith that before we had actually known was possible barred us from accessing that part in each & every one was of that could a been a potential the One. These past few years, we've learned to believe, we've been practicing out in the open with no fear of reprisal from Agents out to kill us. Subconsciously & collectively, once we'd gained the knowedge of what was possible to do with our minds in the Matrix we evolved, collectively the whole of awakened Redpills. just a bit burnt out now so I can't quite articulate this out for some reason, but I believe that it's parallel to what happened in Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash, withon our own human evolution scientists were having the same ideas at relatively the same time despite being 100's of miles away from each other & not cognizant of the others existance.

We'd reached a step in our evolution, be it usage of dormant brain cells or whatever, & now our most highest lvl operative are all the tiny fractions away ftom the full wealth of powers that Neo displayed before he died.

Sorry that this is a mess but I hope the question remained clear.

Why are the Super Agents here, especially if there is a truce going on? What is the reason for the huge lvl increase between the upgraded Agents of MRevolutions & our lvl 255 minders of the unauthorized Matrix zones?

Well, I wouldn't really put that much weight on the experience levels. 255 was chosen for the agent levels because it was the highest possible number in the level system. The reason they did it was probably to make them undefeatable for players. Sorry to come with such a boring, "OOC" answer, but I think some of these, as I use to say,"gameplay conventions" don't deserve any big thoughts or deepening.
Just consider that, in the "real" Matrix, one bullet from any noob gang member can end deadly. As much for levels.

But, other than that, I'd agree with you. Of course, redpills have learned technology since the Truce, so I'd guess they're stronger than the redpills before the Truce. Partially by the Machines' help, partially on their own. And, another agent upgrade probably was a logical decision for the Machines.

Props to anyone who helped kill one of the old agents in the old system. An upgrade had been long overdue SMILEY

We do seem to be alot more powerful than the pre-truce redpills.

Morpheus was a lvl 50 Aikido Master post-truce. So ... lvl 25 redpill more skilled than Morpheus or Trinity pfft.

And Neo would be stronger again. seeing as level limits do not apply to him

I think he meant Morpheus, Trinity etc. before the Truce. Now that redpills' powers in the Matrix have been increased, Morpheus and all the others surely jumped on the train aswell and "leveled" to 50. Oh, and he was level 255 in the 1.2 final missions.
Bug again, I wouldn't take this whole level thingy all too seriously. Redpills do not get more fighting experience because they've completed a 6 phase mission with straight talking, end of debate. SMILEY

ok, im just saying....if what you say is true, and we are always getting more powerful, ima quit the day they want me to run enough missions to get to lvl 255. *CENSORED* that.

I do not believe that is true. I have never seen Cypher fight, but we have seen both Trinity and Morpheus fight agents. While it was obvious that if the battle went on for an extended period, they (Morheus and Trinity) would definitely lose the fight, I would definitely have to say that no level 25 redpill could battle an agent for as long as Morpheus or Trinity did, and live to tell about it.  Saying that a level 25 redpill is stronger than Morpheus, Trinity, and Cypher combined is absurd.

I think the agents should atleast be lvl 60 or 65 then 255.

He already said in the title that the Agents have been upgraded aswell. The Agents, just like Trinity or Morpheus, were level 1 noobs back then (Agents maybe higher), and now been upgraded to 255, unproportionally to us.

But yea again, levels don't matter :)
