For the sake of greater good i'm glad that people enjoyed this event and im also glad it was as big of a proption as the days of old school - that being said i just felt like the secret and mysterious nature of all this sort of went out the window, and so did a lot of the thought and mysticism behind it when people are more or less shooting things because they can.

I mean i was expecting a morale choice between jokers life or death, and we more or less got random pvp.

But all in all it was well done in the end, and im curious where it will go - though i tend to just appreciate a more exclusive style of play - even if it should dissinclude me.

Good times all the same- especially to the lead up anyways.

All the nodes are changing to reflect the outcome of events.  One might think, "this isn't over" until at least this new data is analyzed for clues to the final fate of Incidence 5.991.  Just before the update events occurred, both a manual and an automatic save of all the data nodes and other 01mainframe pages was run.  While at this time it is not possible to post the pre-event pages, a way might be found to do just that should resources of time and server space become available.  If such archives exist already on the web, please post a link.  The history should not be lost, and surely anyone going to look at the node links for the first time would be confused about the back story and puzzles which led us to this "conclusion."

This node is still active.  It isn't one of the twelve nodes which were (not) updated during the events.  It's not the original Sai Kung node, nor is it the final end node.  Curious.  Perhaps if the answer is to be found, it's there.  On a previous note, 991 had no Heart.  Joker that is, as Ballak noticed earlier.

That is the primary node, PS10N.

It corresponds with this in "lastwords":

However, what if his data were to be destroyed, but the primary node left intact? If this were the case and one maintained what I can only be describing as the most extreme of vigilance, then the first signs of his return could be spotted. With a great deal of caution, I believe he could be taken in this vulnerable state of reconstruction. Solitary and alone, this single iteration would likely lack a great deal of the knowledge and power the current 991 wields. You see, in order to avoid detection, the primary node would have to be of extremely minute dimensions. Even in a system as large, complex and convoluted as this one. Therefore it is my belief that this new construct of 991 will lack specific knowledge of its environment and those contained within, making it vulnerable to coercion, attack, or manipulation. He would have none of his current control over the elements of the system, or the ability to move through it with the ease he currently employs.

I started saving the node data to my computer several weeks ago; I believe it has all the nodes including the primary one, lastwords, etc. If anyone wants to see the archives let me know. I could prolly host them as .rar on my server if need be.

I too think this isn't over.  The encrypted portions of the primary node may prove interesting if they can be decrypted. Either way I think Pamela and Adelia should be tasked with monitoring and reporting on the primary node for further activity if they will not destoy it.

On another note Broin had mentioned that the primary node was placed in a district but I couldn't find it mentioned here, Does anyone have the suspected district? The only district I found in non construct areas close to that primary node is in pilsen. but it was 73 meters above that location.

That's the primary node?  Really?  I had no idea....  };-P

That quote from the last words seems familiar I may have read it before.

If you can post a .rar of the whole package, that would be great, I'd like to compare to what I have collected so I can offer anything that's missing and have some surprises too I hope.

Everyone get out your decoder rings...  991 lives on.

These are the backups I have of the nodes with a few other things like unused images in the node root directories, etc.

I'd like to think this isn't the last we've seen of the Joker.

By best guess for the Primary node location is also in that sub-basement of the Pillsen High Rise .. If it were International the node would be located off the Playable area near the skinjuku tunnel.

Another possibility would be north of Bathory Row in the Aqueduct .. which correlates with the Assassin's Final resting place .. which is interesting possibility, it would also correlate with the general direction of the Data Anomaly in the ROger's Way apartment which Darminian pointed out to me.

However the Data nodes did mention trying to fake out the mice by setting up a node in Hampton Green to distract them .. So ... hmmm  I go with Pillsen

Sweet!  I was worried there.  Those sites are cool, and full of information.  I'd hate to see them lost (this coming from a guy who runs an archive site SMILEY  ).

I think this new Joker (possibly of Hearts) will open up a new type of roleplay of the players where their decisions will really matter. This will be very interesting to see how someone like the Joker gets played out, influenced by us. SMILEY

All such files must be archived! I'm a firm believer in keeping everything. I log everything, keep all my e-mails (barring spam), chat logs from IM... you name it.

The only things I've got rid of recently are my lecture notes from the worst of my courses. SMILEY

Access Granted.

I used to share information, but since everyone's goals are so different from my own...

I'm going to go with "update." Or at least try to. Working on it....
