I'm still here. (If anyone can see more than his head, please tell me. Contrast issues = lose.)

It's gonna feel long as hell. The first time always does, man. You'll be sittin' there in limbo, and you'll want to move, but you can't. And you can't because you're not really there. You're sorta' not really anywhere, y'know? But it'll stop, and the stinging'll go away real quick-like. It's weird how it does that.

I can see most of his shirt, except right at the bottom.

If you want it darker, yah. Can just see a hint of his tie and lapels.

I like your avatar, by the way.

Good, that's what I wanted.  And thanks: that's Kari Wahlgren as Tink in 'Neverland.'  A very dark, and very good independent film.

-1000 Words-

    "No, it doesn't make sense, Mister Cunningham," she frowned, catching her reflection in a passing taxi.

    "Okay, kid.  I'll give it to ya'h one more time," the man's lips smacked when he spoke, punctuating the words with sharp consonants.  "So there I was, strung up by the heels, you know?  It must've been three, four days.  Who knows?  Could'uh been a week."  He grinned for a moment, glancing back at the girl.  "And I was gettin' mighty hungry, and this place was a little matchbox of a place on the top of some old apartment building.  Four walls, a locked door, and a half-dozen holes for the rats."  His plastered-on grin widened slightly.  "So I scooped one of 'em up and bit its head clean off.  Now, whenever I'm 'round there, I see the varmints scatter before I get to close."

    The girl stopped, staring at streetlights and cars as the sun began to crawl behind a building.  "But what do the rats eat?"

I always enjoy the detail of your images, it is easy to lose track of time.

(Just bought a 22" HP w2207 LCD today, replacing my old HP mx703 CRT.  I can now see the detail that all of you had been seeing 'cause my stuff isn't so intensely dark on this monitor.  Not to mention, I can now appreciate Void's signature and Avatar.  SMILEY )

-Alyssa Evans : Cadsuane-

"'How do you know so much about everything?' was asked of a very wise and intelligent man;
and the answer was 'By never being afraid or ashamed to ask questions as to anything of which I was ignorant.'"
Lord Henry Billingsley

Whenever I speak with Cadsuane, I'm reminded of my early days in the Tetragrammaton; after all this time, Alyssa hasn't lost her genuine concern for the people within this simulation. She epitomises what the machine cause should stand for, what it used to stand for. Intelligent, efficient, and not without a comedic flair, she is the perfect human counterpart to the coldness of the machines themselves. She was recruited to the faction only a small time before my own departure, but wasn't swayed by the negative propaganda spread after. Consistently breaking through any barrier presented to her, Alyssa is a model operative. I would trust this woman with my life, and consider her one of my closest friends and allies in the Matrix.
