Xenin -- Marcus did die. He was killed by members of the local gang. It's no coincidence that Shimeda's operation report didn't include that part.
It's a shame that once a bluepill chooses to remain a bluepill, any concern from EPN for their safety goes out the window. But they are still human beings, worth just as much as any redpill.

Illyria Marcus had been approached by Cypherites which your Org created. After he didn't choose the Redpill, he was offered an escort home...but he instead chose to run out and by a gang that shot and killed him.

He was offered an escort. And the gang was killed immidiatly after he was shot. He was also attempted to be resustated by an EPN member. So not caring is an exageration.
He is also being mourned.

Did you miss the Quote from Gray saying they Made Cryptos so he could form the Cypherites? Agent Gray: Operative, the Zionite known as Cryptos was overwritten by a Machine program years ago. This program's purpose was to form a group of humans dedicated to the task of preventing Zion from destabilizing the System by awakening more than the allotted 1% of the Matrix' population. At the beginning of the truce period, it was a difficult task for us to control these excess awakenings without causing an overreaction in Zion. The group came to be known as the Cypherites. Under the overwritten Cryptos' leadership, they have been effective in reducing excess awakenings. However, Seraph's attack has disabled Cryptos, and revealed his Machine overwriting. This has led to a certain amount of...political fallout with Zion, and even among Cypherites. Agent Pace will describe your next task.

No, that was Micthell Harper. Dezreki was repremanded and stripped of his Rank for his actions too. He resigned from EPN. Marcus died because he refused an escort home and walked head first into a gang.
Eh? He added to my contact list as Mitchell if I'm not mistaken. I don't remember typing an I in place of a L.
((I am reminded of an MST3K episode starring Mitchell.))
Good Lord. Dez convinces him to come at gunpoint, and all I did was tell him he won a trip. And to think...people are on MY case.
(As I posted in another thread, too)
Alright, listen people, when I got to Uriah when Eki called me and told me she found Mitchel, I go there as quick as I can and what's the first thing I do to this bluepill?
Check his details.
Now...in these details...it said he had been seeing weird things around the docks lately -- as any investigator would, I wanted to figure out what these "weird things" were. So, in order to obtain the information I wanted, and assumed were needed and pertinent to the live event, I told him I was a government agent. I had to convince him to come with me and my operatives to a location to figure out what he had seen. Now, up to this point, I'm still assuming this live event took a slight change of path from the regular awakening because it said he had been seeing weird things around the wharf. So, now, I drew my gun, to state my posistion as a Field Agent in the government -- as such, Field Agents are armed. Once he came to the assumption that I was a redpill, I confirmed that for him by hyper-jumping -- I *had* to get him back to the REP by any means necessary at this point for A. His awakening and B. His information.
So. Anyone still have a problem with my tactics?
