"Not like this...." AktivX thought to himself as he sat on his bunk in the cramped quarters of the barge he had been assigned to. "It all seems so meaningless. It wasn't supposed to happen like this." He sighed and rubbed at the large port on the back of his neck before leaning down to lace his boots. "What happened to the fight for freedom, when all of this actually meant something. That's why I joined, that was my reason. To do goo..."

"Are you Ready?" interrupts the voice of another young man as heis head ducks through the small hole that served as the door to the bunk. A boy no older than twenty, not much older than AktivX himself, one of his nearly dozen other opmates on the barge. "Captain wants us prepped and ready to pick up the package in ten minutes. Get ready and I'll meet you in the loading construct, don't keep me waiting.." And before Aktiv could even respond, the boy was gone.

"Yeah...I'm on my way.." He says, clacking his heavy boots on the floor and pulling himself to his feet. "Another Courier run, take this here...move it over there. This isn't what I signed on for. I was supposed to make a difference. That's why He got me out, that's why he sacrificed himself, and that's why I'm supposed to be here. It was about freedom then. Now it's about who can control more in that damned simulation." He shakes his head and takes a moment to gather his resolve before heading for the door and the gangway to the opchairs. "For once I'd like to think I was doing some good. securing future and all that junk, something truly worthy of even being pulled out of that pod.....anything...."

Any RP group that wants to try and convert me to one side or the other, be it in-game or through the tread is more than welcome, though at the current moment I'm looking for a Zion Extremist group or EPN group. *blinks* Winterbrood went EPN? I remember you guys quite well. Did more than a few dealings on past characters with the WB and the Tet, though under my other handle, Portswitch, Back when I was running the Loteks just after the beta days and a bit before under this handle. Glad to see you guys are still around.

Our numbers have shrunk significantly since those days *sigh* We consist mostly of veteran players now who RP, pvp, and help young redpills however we can. We aim for 1 to 2 of our own player events per year. One is in the works, but I don't want to spoil anything.

I may not be online much this week, have a couple of test coming up. A few of our actives include LuciousBrujah, PBell, Vedren, Theorydust, Senliten, and Kadith. Try contacting one of them in game, they would be glad to answer any questions you may have, if not post here and I'll try and reply.
