Player Event Announcements

Who: Tell us who is throwing the event.

Description: Give us a brief description of what this event is about and what people can expect to do if they attend.

Server: What server is this event going to be taking place on?

Where: Where is the event going to be held?

When: When is the scheduled time the event will be taking place?

PM this information to Raijinn within 1 week of your event and we'll get it posted up on DN1 as long as it's an event that everyone can take part in. If you happen to have any screenshots of the type of things that you'll be doing at the event please provide a link to them in your PM as we'd like to make some Party Fliers for the announcement on DN1.

Also, after the event takes place, if you write up a recap of the event and post it in the Player Event forum PM me a link to it so we can feature that on DN1 as well!

Please put the subject of your PM to me as "Player Event Announcement" for an announcement or "Player Event Recap" for a recap. This will help me sort out the messages so that I can give it proper attention.

Since MxO players have such a great bunch of folks that like to run their own events, I thought this would be a great way to highlight that. I hope to make a template soon to make "Party Fliers" with your screenshots as the background.

Or...if you wanted to submit your own "Party Flier" or "Event Flier" please make it 400 width by 200 height and provide me a link to it. If they aren't 400x200 they will not be posted.

I want DN1 to be a source where people can go to and find some cool things to do in game. I hope that with some of these ideas I can achieve that goal.

These can be any events also, parties, olympics, martial arts duels, heck even dance off's. Have at it folks!

Can I mark an event one month before it happens? Les Enfants Terribles' third annual Hel party on May 8th.

I thought club Hel was a Merv only club? It kind of needs to be something that everyone can attend if we feature it.

And you're correct, it would be best to wait till about a week out before PMing me the info for your party so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

The week of the event is fine as long as it's 48 hours before so I can make sure I have ample time to call it out on the site. SMILEY
