Post here if you are planning on attending this year.
It will be quite a journey but I will make it. And if it's just to /punt ... nvm. Mave already did that.
Plan...Yes... but we need to know more on what will we be doing there for such as roundtables, panels and forums...and also at least please put an MxO table/PC Display at the convention area.
Time will tell.
You gonna block me again this year? ;P
Not sure.... A few things that I wanted to express before committing to this trip...
Make us feel welcome to the Fanfaire. Many of us are feeling pretty down about the state of the game. I mean the last few years I've had the feeling we we're kinda like the kid no one talks to as school when I attended. Have some sort of table/propaganda to show people the game exists still. Give us something to do in game while we are there. Host some sort of event that takes place during Fanfaire like the rest of the games that are represented. Give us a panel discussing the state of the game and any future plans. Give us something to talk about when we get back (Not talking about drunken stories from the hotel lounge either). Have the in game item something more that just cool to look at. How about some special stats on them? These are but a few small requests that I think are do-able on the part of those are in charge of putting events and panels together for this years fanfaire.
I will wait and see what happens and will leave my decision up to what is in store for those who will travel for the 3rd year to Vegas for this event.

Interesting...
To answer: No way in hell. With the crap treatment MxO has been shown, I see no reason to fork out money to go to a SOE convention. If I went, it would only be to streak the EQ 10th anniversary party... wearing nothing but a bandanna.
I wont even attempt to go unless I get some mxo related reason to go. otherwise, not a chance. Everquest isnt quiet a reason to goto fan faire...
i wont be going, i dont see why MXO should go to an Everquest Faire when SOE refuse to acknowledge us, but still want us to turn up, its like a quote from one of my favourite comedians, we are like the relatives that you invite to your wedding and really hope that they can see past the luke warm tone of the card, look at your partner and say aaah, shall we give that a miss
if i can get the dates required then probly, it shouldnt be about the pannels anyway its about the people.

No MxO love = No SOE/FF love.
Edit: That said, Tseng's right too, and Vegas is Vegas. LET will be representin'
No I'm not...
I would go just to meet everyone again, but its way to early.
The MxO planned activities are what this year?
Begging Smedly for developers after his keynote speech?
Pass.
