Oh my god! Wow, I just realized that this is going on now! Im watching the news and it's just terrible. My condolences to all this who have lost people.

It makes all the worries about SOE making this game crap seem minor doesn't it....

Yes, this is definately not a storm to take lightly. Miami already got hit hard when it was barely a category 1. There are still hundreds of thousands of people without power...and that was when it was only packing 80mph winds.

Be careful guys, don't do anything stupid, like go outside to see if it's raining :smileyindifferent:

I'm not in LA (Louisiana), but i'm supposed to be near where they're predicting it to hit. It if moves much, I'm going to get hit by a very large bulk of it. And yet they're not doing anything? :smileyindifferent:

Keep dry, and safe for anyone that is in the storm path. I've been through some bad storms myself and know what they can be like. Keeping the fingers crossed for anyone in the path of this ugly one !

My condolences (not the praying type) go out to those that have
suffered or will suffer in the wake of this powerful storm.  Funny
how, for all of mans devices nature can still toss us around like
ragdolls should it chose to do so.  Though storms of this nature
are devastating, I can't help but also find them fascinating.
Again, my best wishes of luck and safety go out to those in the wake of
this storm.  Should you be fortunate and come out on top, make
sure you care and geive for those of lesser fortune.

To echo Brenlo's announcement post: Everyone here at SOE is thinking about our community members in the path of Katrina. Best wishes to everyone down there: Good luck and keep safe.
