For update 53, I repacked some of our specularity textures that had been broken since...probably forever. This restored shiny highlights to items that have always looked properly shiny in our model tools, but have had no highlights in the game itself, such as Agent glasses, and many types of leather clothing. Scattered reports indicate that some items now have inappropriate specularity; for instance, some felt/cloth items that should have no shine are shiny, and some items are shiny with a color tint in the shine that changes the overall color of the item to the wrong hue. Please list such items here, with: a) The complete name of the item b) A reasonably sized screenshot showing the problem

The Black Dress Shirt has a red tint.
Personally, I am ok with the shineness.

Positive, I only wear black and you can tell what color Voids are by looking at the edges of the glasses. It's not nearly as noticable as the dress shirts but it's there. It may just be how the ligth hits it as you can see im out in the open while in your pics its cloudy and darkish.

I think it has to do with your camera position, it seems when I put my camera facing down on my character certain shades turn purple, but at steady level they look normal. I'm sure it has something to do with the reflection they are rendering or something.

Gotta be the lighting as I get it also on a straight shot from the side. You can also see it in the left lense in Solids pic which is a straight on shot.

Yeah, I have noticed the red tint on the Voids, when you move your camera around you can get rid of it, but it seems to be there more angles than not if know what I mean, that will have to be tweaked too but it seems it is the same problem as on the shirt. Side note: I like the Yoshi Asiri Trench & Yoshi Triga Trench new shiney-ness EDIT: It seems to go pure black when you angle it to get a white shine on the lense, like my right lense or HTs left lense (the right lense doesn't look pure black if you look closely) none of Gami's lenses have the light on it so the red/purple is seen better.

-Black/Black Machello Jacket and Tie (All of the Machello Jacket and Tie shirts, actually.) -Black Plain Slacks (Bit difficult to see... sorry. I think all of them are like this too, but it is not quite as obvious.) A better shot of the shirt. Another of the jacket/tie shirts (Dark Green/Brown). -Black Avero Suit Coat -Green Dress Shirt (All of the Dress Shirts.) I actually think the Void Shades look pretty cool now... edit: bloody $@!# forums...

Actually, in regards to the slacks, quite a lot of trousers now have the shine, probably for belts. However, this is actually quite subtle and nice. I like it. The shine on the Arasaki Leather Pants however looks a little much, it was always kind of a dull, or at least limitedly shiny, leather. Also, the System Shades also have the discolouration problem. I was fighting some Agents earlier and they look more rose tinted than evil black now

I admit that it is nice that you can see the belt on the pants, but having the pant legs shiny is sorta weird, hehe. And I agree on the Arasaki Leather Pants...
